"This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning grounds and the cottage is gorgeous! Immaculate! Paul and Julie welcomed us on arrival and were so informative. Hillary went out of her way to take us to get groceries as we were without acar. Loved them all! We can't say enough good about these folks. Would definitely stay there again!"

"We had a brilliant stay at Codley Farm Cottage. The house was really comfortable and very well equipped. The welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated after the long drive. We made good use of the free entry into the Vindolanda site (which is simply mind blowing) and the Roman Army Museum. The house is perfectly situated for lots of lovely walks all from the front door and we had a brilliant evening at the nearby Kielder Observatory. A wonderful week that we hope to repeat one day -...

"The location is great. The road is a tad noisy when outside but cannot hear it inside the cottage. The cottage has all essentials for 2 people. The bathroom can be quite akward even for a slim person. The shelf in the bathroom needs fixing and the doors of the shower don't close properly."

"This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest. Will absolutely stay again."

"Lovely comfortable cottage with a fabulous view from the lounge balcony with afternoon and evening sun. No personal touch or welcome gift. Front yard full of weeds and plants blocking light into two snug windows. Would have been nice to use that space for a seat outside in the morning sunshine as the kitchen is perfectly placed through the front door. Locals lovely. Lots of pubs and shops. Great places to explore in the area."

"The cottage is beautiful, immaculately clean, very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious with 3 bedrooms snd two bathrooms. I would describe it as a little gem with oodles of character. Eileen and Richard are wonderful hosts. Such lovely people and gave great tips about where to go and where best to park. Got to mention Humphrey, Maple and Syrup - the adorable ducks!
