"It was a great retreat in the Bucks farm. We were lucky to be there to see the solar eclipse and the meteor shower away from all the light pollution. It is beautiful place and it felt very peaceful to stay there."

"Amazing place to stay to explore the island. Sally and Sue the hosts are really warm and welcoming when we arrived, and the outdoor space to play football was lovely for my son. The cottage is accurate to the photos, and the beds were really comfy. It is a gem of a place lovely a quiet but then great location to explore the island - perfect in every way. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped room with plenty of space. Only drawback was that it was right over the main bar. No A/C but fan provided and open windows allowed good cooling and airflow later in the evening. Staff allowed very early check in and provided a good vegan menu for lunch - both greatly appreciated. Plenty of space in car park with camp site near by but not intruding."

"This may be the best-equipped rental I have stayed in. The highlight was the view from the deck! Absolutely beautiful. Comfy beds, good shower, everything you need. The location feels very private despite being in a holiday park. Was quite close to playground and entertainment centre but wasn’t noisy at night at all (nor the day actually). One shower and two toilets. Four adults was probably max. There are a couple of fans but even though it was 30 degrees one day we didn’t need them as it cools down with windows open. Very thoughtful and generous welcome pack with milk, juice, fruit, cake, biscuits. Everything was exactly as listed. Area: You definitely need a car as nothing else in the area, but it’s a short walk to the beach. There’s a shop, ice cream shop and a chippy, as well as pub grub. The food was good as was the service although ambience a bit rough and ready. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that."

"Very well maintained and fab to stay. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. I booked a table in advance. It was full when we were there, so would recommend booking ahead. Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. There were muffins and bars along with fruit basket. We were greeted and asked if wale would like tea or coffee. Staff excellent very helpful across both stays."
