"The Elmwood is an enchanting place to rest our vacation weary bodies. The Violet, the owner, was very accomodating to our ask for an extention to our stay. Both of the rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and full of memories of a past life with past occupants of the Inn.

"breakfast was good to better than good. at check in there was some confusti[on on part of front desk lady as to our reservation, but was immediately resolved by my showing her the internet generated computer printout showing the reservation and info. Room was really comfortable, close to central downtown. Couldn't expect more for my expectations. had a delightlful dinner in town"

The staff is nice, my room was on the corner w 2 windows, the 2 beds were comfortable, happy hour was 5-6 p.m. The free breakfast had a variety and changed a bit each morning. Coffee, water and teas were readily available. The location was lso wonderful. "
