"The location was great - just a 10 min bike ride into town. The staff were top notch - they were all so amazing to deal with and really took care of you. The only disappointment was the room for how much I paid for it. I was expecting it to feel a bit more high end. It was a comfortable bed. The bathroom was tiny (if you are using the toilet your legs are pretty much touching the shower). Very basic otherwise. The lobby and breakfast and pool areas were nice and lots of bikes to rent. I ordered a bottle of wine and they sent another that was 3 times the price without telling me.
They threw us out because they said they had to set up for breakfast while they had other tables still sitting. We were still drinking our wine.
The only person that was nice at this place was the person at reception.

"Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined.
I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."
"Only stayed for one night but wished I had booked for longer. Staff creates very relaxing atmosphere especially pool area. Spent most my time just relaxing at pool snacking and drinking, loved it. If I am back in Massa for extended stay will definitely look to get room here."
