"The room was nice, the view was great. Breakfast (with lots of variety) on the balcony was a lot of fun with the seagulls :). The parking, though, is a problem. You park at a farther point, not right by the hotel (as there's no parking space nearby). Even though we stayed less than 24 hours (came at around 6:00pm and left at around noon the next day), we were asked to be charged for 2 days worth! This was not communicated clearly ahead of time either."

We booked the suite for my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Didn’t realise the bed for the kids would be a fold out couch, but it was fine. Just meant we didn’t really have a place to sit, but we just sat out on the lovely terrace instead. Breakfast was great, coffees made to order, juice, pastries, muesli, yoghurt and fruit. Would have liked some toast or something less sweet, but it was nice. In a lovely area, short walk to the castle, easy walk to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby.

Staying at Relais S. Francesco turned out to be one of the highlights of our honeymoon! Not only are the facilities beautiful and the view the best I saw from Sorrento, the service was outstanding. Francesco went above and beyond to make sure our stay and time in the area was the easiest and the best experience it could be. Recently fully renovated this place is pristine. Pietro makes you very welcome and is a guide to everything. The 3 rooms are large with balconies overlooking the town and sea. You can walk to the shops and port or get the locaL bus around. The Saraceno DOr estaurant underneath is run by Pietros family and is wonderful and well priced. Meet all the locals and the family here. Breakfast is a feast taken in your room or on your balcony.

If I could give Melania x10 5 star reviews I would. She is so lovely, everything was in excellent condition, she was so accommodating and went out of her way for my stay. She organised airport transfers for me, gave me recommendations on where to eat and where to go to the beach. Lovely room in a renovated villa. Great pool. Good wifi. Breakfast in a lemon grove was really excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice and the best coffee I’ve had in Italy. No street noise at all. Very close to the train station and a food supermarket. Easy walk to the centre and the port. The bar next door made a bit of music noise at night but otherwise this was a perfect stay. A real oasis in busy Sorrento.

Beautiful villa we wanted to give ourselves a treat after travelling through Europe for 7 weeks and this was truely more than we expected. From the private balcony where breakfast is served every morning, to the beautiful crystal chandelier hanging over our king size bed and the amazing shower it was perfection. Villa Durante was easily the most special and unique accommodation of our entire trip around Italy. From the warm welcome of the staff to the uniqueness of the palatial suite of rooms. We visited from Australia with family and loved our stay, it’s position is central to Sorrento walking distance to everything, the bell tower is unique,(the bells do not ring all night) the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are polite and friendly very willing to help. There are stairs but staff will help with luggage if needed. Recommend this accommodation for couples, friends and family.
