Amamos a estadia!

O hotel é incrível!!! Foram super gentis e deixaram bolo e balões pois no dia de nossa chegada era meu aniversário. A propriedade é lindíssima, vista para as montanhas, ficamos no que eles chamam de cottage (pequena casinha), super confortável, decoração simples mas chique, camas gostosas, banheiro legal, utensílios de cozinha super equipados. A comunicação foi ótima, super fácil de contacta-los, passamos por problemas e necessidade de alteração devido ao corona virus e eles foram super compreensivos e nos ajudaram. A distância para o centro é ok, necessita de carro para locomoção!

Beautiful location.... Stunning views.

Stayed in the cottages, ours was no. 7, for 6 nights. Great views, but a good 12-15min walk to the main house where the pool was, but you can drive if you have a car. Very good security at the cottages of which there are 8 in to total. They are cleaned every day with fresh towels, but there is no house phone but generally someone is around. The cottages are air conditioned with TV, and come with everything you would expect from a self catering cottage. The furnishing are adequate, nothing fancy. Beds are okay, a little small, fridge a little noisy. Security light outside a little intrusive. Easy parking, easy access. About 7min drive to the centre of Stellenbosch. Located in the Devon Valley which is lovely and very safe. Would definitely return.

Marvelous place

Amazing place, beautiful view and lovely hostess. We spent three nights and wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked. Excellent service, wonderful breakfast and very helpful staff. We live this hotel.

Amazing stay at Zarosa

The main estate is magnificent, the surroundings wonderful, and the staff is very friendly and creates a nice atmosphere. The breakfast great and there is an honesty bar in case you want a beer. If you have the option to select a room at the main estate where the pool is that is to be recommended. The self-catering cabins, which are another option are nice, clean and well equipped though but 750 m away from the main estate.

Epic location and property

What a find!! Incredible views - little zebras on view as we had a glass of wine in the evening and such wonderful staff in a beautiful location. Recently renovated and it's obvious there has been a lot of time and effort spent on the property. Great breakfast too.

Flott sted å bo!

Over all forventning bra!!!! Nydelig eiendom, med utsikt, basseng og treningsrom. I hjertet av vakre Stellenbush,. Veldig god service - nydelig frokost. Serverer ikke middag, men Uber fungerer utmerket for transport mellom Zarose og vingårder/bybesøk.
For den som trenger en forfriskende dukkert.

Dirk is a great host who is taking care of all guest needs. Lovely estate and wonderful rooms. 5-10 minutes drive into Stellenbosch center. The breakfast was individually made and was amazing! 100% recommendation.

Outstanding Hotel

Great location, great management, great breakfast and great value. We stayed three nights at Zarose and loved everything about it. The management was outstanding and made you feel welcome from the instant you checked in. The rooms are spotless and large. I cant wait to stay here again.

Schöner Ort, jedoch sind Bilder und Beschreibungen nicht korrekt. Das Hauptgebäude ist wunderschön, tolle Poolanlage. Bucht man jedoch ein Cottage, muss man das Hauptgebäude wieder verlassen und mit dem Auto ein paar hundert Meter fahren. Unser Cottage war um 16:00 Uhr eigendlich noch nicht bezugsbereit...sehr dreckiger Boden und schmutzige Leintücher. Keine Kosmetikartikel und kein Föhn im Zimmer. Sehr ringhörig!

Besser geht’s nicht!!

Super Lage mit fantastischem Ausblick, bester Service und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die das Frühstück sehr liebevoll und reichhaltig zubereitet haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und 4 Tage in vollen Zügen genossen. Gerne hätten es noch mehr sein können.

A wonderful stay in Stellenbosch

Zarose is located in a tucked away part of Stellenbosch. A wonderful drive awaits you passing a range of animals including 3 zebras! The house is perched above the property looking back over the sprawling valley. A pool in the sun is the ideal to place to take a dip and enjoy the stunning views. You must watch the sun go down with a glass of wine. It's an amazing spot. Rooms are comfortably sized with a good bathroom. Breakfast is a real treat - in particular the fresh yoghurt, muesli and fruit which was my favourite on my SA trip to date. Ilsbeth and Dirk do a wonderful job hosting and making sure you're well looked after. Highly recommended for a stay in Stellies.

Excelente estada

Escolhemos o hotel zarose para passar o réveillon em família. Ficamos em um dos cottages, que ficam distantes da casa principal de hotel. O cottage é bem equipado com cozinha completa. A vista do local é magnífica. Embora não inclua o café da manhã, o hotel oferece na casa principal frutas e bolinhos durante todo o dia. Os donos responsáveis do muito simpáticos e muito atenciosos. Recomendo fortemente o local para quem quer passar alguns dias na região dos vinhos.
