A hidden gem in Cape Town! We only stayed 2 nights but it was more than enough to recommend this place to others. The guest house is located very conveniently from both the V&A and the stadium. Both are walkable or a very short drive away. The building itself is lovely, very clean and well decorated. Our room was large and very tidy with a huge comfortable bed and large patio area. Breakfast was fantastic with lots to chose from and cooked options also offered. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and helpful on both days with small requests, also very attentive generally. I couldn't recommend this guest house more!

Der Aufenthalt war hervorragend. Zu Beginn hat sich eine Mitarbeiterin beim Check-In Zeit genommen, um uns alles Wichtige in der Unterkunft zu zeigen. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr schön. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sodass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Beim Frühstück blieb kein Wunsch offen. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Neben dem Buffet wird jedem Gast ein separates englisches Frühstück immer frisch zubereitet. Sonderwünsche wurden immer hochmotiviert umgesetzt (bspw. vegetarisches Frühstück, Frühstück ganz früh am Morgen, weil ein Tagestrip geplant war…). Dies betraf auch das gewünschte Doppelbett anstatt zwei Einzelbetten im von uns gebuchten Zimmer, da bei der Buchung leider alle anderen Zimmer bereits belegt waren. Zudem sehr freundliches Personal, sodass man gleich bestens in den Tag startet. Die Gästeküche kann auch abends genutzt werden, sodass man sich auch mal selber Essen machen kann. Weiterhin war alles sehr sauber, abends ist ein Wachdienst da, sodass wir uns sehr sicher gefühlt haben. Die Parkplätze auf dem Hof sind ebenfalls bewacht. Das Wohnviertel ist traumhaft schön und gehört zu den schönsten und sichersten Vierteln in Kapstadt. Den Hafen und auch das Meer erreicht man schnell zu Fuß. Alles in allem eine Unterkunft, die unsere sehr hohen Anforderungen übertroffen hat. Von uns eine ganz klare Empfehlung (auch an unsere Freunde und Familie). Hier steht der Gast im Mittelpunkt. An absolute gem in the heart of Green Point. Close to everything! Spacious, beautifully appointed rooms with attention to detail. Gorgeous African art collection in this Victorian guest house. A refreshing pool and balcony from which to watch the sunset with a beverage from the honesty bar. And the best breakfasts ever! But what really makes Wilton Manor feel like a home away from home is the loving staff - Ilse, Sarita, Mirriam, Elizabeth, Bodwin - who make you feel like one of the family!

Great hotel

Cross between small hotel and B&B

A comfortable stay in C.T. Victoria, our hostess, could not have been more pleasant and efficient. Her breakfasts are great Rooms are spotless. Because of distance to V&A Waterfront, it's nice to have Uber capability, inexpensive in and around C.T. We did not go out at night. Stay highly recommend. No concerns for September time of year.

The property was beautiful and well decorated. Although I never felt like I was in danger, the property was very secure and had hired security. The staff were fantastic. They were polite and accommodating. I loved seeing and hearing their pet birds. Breakfast was great (try Victoria's pancakes). The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi always worked. It's an amazing place to stay and I can't wait to visit again. Please remember though that Cape Town is still experiencing a severe drought.

Pittoresk guesthouse op loopafstand van leuke restaurants en de V&A Waterfront. Top qua locatie. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, van de aardige dames die het ontbijt verzorgen tot de nachtportier. Het enige vervelende is dat het huis enorm gehorig is. Krakende vloeren, gehorige muren. Je hoorde letterlijk wat er in de kamer boven ons werd gezegd. Onze kamer (2) met het raam lag naast een gangetje waar de was werd gedaan en het personeel heen en weer liep waardoor ik al vroeg wakker werd. Ik ben een lichte slaper en werd snel wakker. Mijn dochter van 18 had er geen last van.

Charming guest house

The Guest House was a nice old building with a lot of charm but we got a really dark room and that was not what we had expected. The breakfast was OK - but not more. You felt very welcome and the service was good. The guest house is very close tho the Waterfront and all it’s restaurants and shops.

Kleines Hübsches Hotel in Greenpoint. Wer kein Luxus sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer. Das super Plus war das selbstgemachte Pancake-Omelet am Schluss des Frühstücks.

Ruhig, familiär, gemütlich, sicher

Mein Freund und ich haben 5 Nächte über Neujahr 2012/2013 im Wilton Manor Guesthouse verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Unser Zimmer war wohl eines der ruhigsten, wir hörten kaum etwas von anderen Gästen, Personal oder Nachbarn (das ist scheinbar nicht bei allen Zimmern so). Die Einrichtung ist neu, modern und geschmackvoll. Es ist sauber und gepflegt, zudem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Falls gewünscht kümmern sie sich auch um das Buchen von Ausflügen oder Reservationen in Restaurants. Das Frühstück war lecker und vielseitig. Eine Küche für allfällige Selbstversorgung steht zur Verfügung, zudem hat's einen Kühlschrank mit Getränken, wo man sich selber bedienen kann (Vertrauensprinzip). Restaurants und Shops liegen in 10-15min Gehdistanz. Das Wilton Manor Guesthouse liegt in einem schönen und ruhigen Quartier (am Fuss des Signal Hills), in dem wir uns sicher fühlten. Zudem ist das Haus und der Parkplatz 24h überwacht, das heisst man hat rund um die Uhr eine Ansprechperson. Nur zwei (kleine) Kritikpunkte: das Doppelbett war nur ca. 160cm breit, und der Terrassen/Pool-Bereich ist nicht sehr gross und auf drei Seiten von Häusern umgeben, daher oft schattig. Wir würden aber trotzdem wieder dort buchen, da uns das Haus und die familiäre Atmosphäre sehr gefallen hat.
