Bliss in Beautiful Hout Bay

Our stay at the Kronendal was amazing - the staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was ever too much bother. Breakfast was delicious and served on our own patio with a view of the mountain across the valley. Utterley faultless and highly recommended!

Great Service

We received personalised service from super staff Cecelia and Jacob but appreciated the privacy we were given as well. The room was clean and homely. I prefer a separate bathroom especially so you don't disturb your partner. The bathroom should have its own light. My only issue with the booking was that you would forfeit your full amount if you cancel and I didn't see this condition as I am so used to booking on Hotels.com and most hotels have a 0 value cancellation up to 24 hours before the stay. As a business person this suits me better. I will be a little bit more alert when booking next time.

A real Jewel!

This is an unbelievable find in Hout Bay. It is beautiful, Maggie is THE best hostess EVER and she, Cecilia and Beauty could not be kinder or more accommodating. We LOVED every precious minute we had here and would go back in an instant. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much!!

Great location outside of Cape Town

Given that South Africa has a reputation for great scenery and great wine, as well as food and adventure, we wanted to make sure we had a location in the middle of it all. We also wanted to make sure we were safe and that things were quiet. All of these things were available when we stayed at Kronendal. I highly recommend it.
