Tropical Retreat in Southwest Cape Coral

This beautiful southwest Cape Coral home features a split bedroom design as well as a game room with a heated pool and 5 person jacuzzi in your private lanai. This home backs up to a wooded preserve and a nature trail of with abundant wildlife such as Bald Eagles and Gopher Tortoises. Both the master and guest bedroom have private entrances from the lanai. Pets welcome.

The pool heater is electric and set to 87 degrees at all times with no extra charge. The spa is a stand alone so you’re able to control the temperature there at will.

The property is just a quick drive to Cape Coral Yacht Club beach or Cape Harbour. Ft Myers Beach or Sanibel Island is only 30 minutes away. The kids can enjoy Sunsplash waterpark or the Shell Factory. Go saltwater fishing from nearby piers or book a chartered adventure. Take one of the boat cruises to nearby islands of Cayo Costa, Useppa, Captiva, or Cabbage Key.

Shopping is close at many different malls from upscale Coconut Point to the Edison Mall or outlet shops like Tanger or Miramar.

Perfect Vacation!!

This home was beautiful and perfectly matched the listing. It was spacious and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were amazing!! Pete made sure we had all info we needed prior to check in and followed up before check out, making the process effortless. We would absolutely stay here again, it was perfection!!

Beautiful pool home, quiet neighborhood!

Stayed at this property for 5 days while working in the area. It was very well equipped and clean, back lanai with pool was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. Very quiet and private, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

Great home in a great location

Tropical Retreat in Southwest Cape Coral is one of the best VRBO properties that we have stayed in. The location was perfect. The park behind it makes it feel very secluded. We saw a few eagles and owls behind the house. It is within 15 minutes of some great waterfront dining. The house was clean and well equipped. The back patio with heated pool and jacuzzi was perfect. We will definitely be booking this property the next time we are in the area.

Tropical Retreat in SW Cape Coral

A great home in a nice area. The owner was very responsive to a couple minor issues. We enjoyed cooking, eating, relaxing, and sleeping at the house. The kids enjoyed the pool, games, and having their own space. We would go here again and recommend it for other families. A short drive to beaches and other activities.

Beautiful, Clean Property

Excellent accommodation. Well situated for our daily excursions in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Sanibel. Great place to relax in at the end of the day with a pool and hot tub. We were pleasantly surprised that the sunset was viewable from the pool/hot tub and there was a nature walking path close to the house.

Great home in Cape Coral

We stayed for two weeks and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The home was clean, comfortable, and in a nice location. The large family room easily accommodated all of us and the beds were comfortable. The highlight of the home is the lanai and pool deck. It offers plenty of space to relax, the pool was large, the water was a perfect temp, and there’s also a hot tub, which we enjoyed as well. Our host, Pete, was VERY responsive anytime I had to reach out about something. The only downside is the home lacks a few comfort things like bedside lamps, dressers in two of the three bedrooms, and cushions for the pool loungers (we solved that with a trip to Target). The people staying in those two bedrooms had to rely solely on overhead lighting at night and lived out of their suitcase on the floor of their closet. This is the only reason why I rated four stars vs. five stars. Having said that, I would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend this property.

Very Nice

The house was nice and clean. It had plenty of space for our family of 4. Everything was there needed to cook meals and enjoy your day around the pool. Pete was very helpful in giving us places to take our boat out to.

This was a great place to stay. The hot tub was everything the house looked just as it is described its beautiful and very spacious. There was a dilemma on my end but my host assured me that everything is ok and encouraged me to finish enjoying my stay.. any time i reached out i rexieved a response right after... i really appreciate pete for letting us stay this was a birthday getaway and it went well...thanks again and i recommend booking this place. I came down on September the 12-15th. A warm welcoming 3day stay..10 out of 10 for me.

Property not clean

We never leave reviews, actually I think this is a new account, but we have been going to Cape Coral, renting similar houses, for the last 4 years. This is the first time ever, that the house seems to had not been cleaned for a while. The pool was dirty (you could see some floating residue, especially at night when the pool light was on. They claim that they have a jacuzzi, but we never dared to open it. The rug that they have to wipe your feet at the end of the jacuzzi, was green and full of mold. The mold was actually leaving the rug vaciar the jacuzzi drops some water. They lack a lot of cleaning products, kitchen utensils and so on. The first night, we stayed only two, we found a “Florida bug” walking around the bbq grill. We found 3 others inside the sink. Contacted the owner and was told there was nothing they could do. I had to drive 20 mins to the nearest Walmart that is open 24/7 to buy some raid. I think the wors part, was that I ended up getting a skin fungus that to this day, two weeks later, is still on my back. The only real good thing about this property was the gaming room. But again, they didn’t have chargers for the Wii remotes, only one of them had one light of charge (the 2nd didn’t even turn on). At last, we didn’t want to leave a bad review , but decided to do so after the owner, decided to charge us $125 for cleaning fees asocited with dog feces and pee. We are the kind of ppl that was dishes and make up beds. That was probably from someone else.

Just Perfect

We had a wonderful time. House was as described in listing. Super clean and well presented to the guest. Highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful stay. Pool was well maintained and very enjoyable. Hope to stay there often as we visit family in area.

It was a great location for what we needed. House was very spacious. Beds were comfortable pool area and hot tub were both amazing. The view is absolutely stunning when the sun goes down. We’ll definitely stay again. Next time we come to Cape Coral if it is available love the layout. Host response rapidly very nice thanks for letting us stay at your home. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Pool & Hot Tub Made the Trip!

Traveling with preteens, this home was perfect. They practically lived in the pool, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub! The location is convenient to everything, and the area was great for our daily walks.The only request I would make is a piece of furniture in bedrooms 2 & 3 to unload our luggage.We would definitely stay here again if visiting Cape Coral.
