"Food items at the cafe were delicious. We had the pastrami sandwich, the quinoa salad and the carrot cake. All were delicious. The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Bed was comfortable and cozy. The sauna on the deck was a nice option that we didn’t have time for since we arrived late. The deck facing the water provided a great spot to view the scenery. "

"We had an unforgettable time at The Loft in Bay Bulls while celebrating our first anniversary. The space was beautifully clean, modern, and incredibly peaceful — exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. We especially loved enjoying our morning coffee and toast on the patio while soaking in the stunning views.We appreciated the thoughtful touches — including a bag of local Jumping Bean Coffee (delicious!), which made our mornings even better.The location is perfect — just a few minutes from the boat tours and close to great local dining. We had a fabulous dinner at Stone Ducky and listened to live music on the patio — the young fellow performing was so talented and plays every Thursday.We also attempted the nearby trail to The Spout without reading the full map first — we hiked an hour each way, and while we didn’t make it to the geyser, the coastal scenery, ocean sounds, and fresh air made it totally worthwhile. We recommend reaching out to your hosts for hiking tips before heading out!Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay — we would absolutely return. "Beautiful cottage! The best place to unwind after a long day of travels around the Avalon. "

"We had a great two-night getaway from St. John's with our young adult daughter. It is a beautiful property in a peaceful location on a lovely pond. My daughter loved hearing the loons! The weather wasn't good enough for us to get into the pond but we spent a fair bit of time in the hot tub and sitting in the living room reading, watching movies and playing games.You can tell the property is new so I hope they are able to keep it up to the current standard over time. The listing pictures should be updated to show the gazebo and the grass as they both add to the property.We do have a few things that we feel would add to the overall comfort, especially for a more extended stay.- Add bedroom storage - clean out closet in primary bedroom and add a closet organizer. Could remove second set of bunk beds in the queen room to make the closet accessible and create room for a small dresser, nightstand with lamp and maybe even a chair. Add a narrow dresser in the small bunk room.- Add a device charging area in the main entry - bedrooms are also lacking in this area.- Blinds in the living room windows would improve TV watching during daylight hours...it was difficult to see even on a gloomy day.- An awning over the hot tub would be amazing.- House has way more items than many rentals but there were a couple of items missing - a hair dryer and BBQ utensils, in particular would be great.Overall, we had a great two days, and would love to come back again."

"Fantastic view in a very comfortable cottage on the oceanfront. Wildlife entertained us all day every day. The cottage had everything we needed and was convenient to all attractions in Avalon."

"This is a beautiful, extremely clean large 2 bedroom home in a quiet cottage area. Very comfortable beds with a large bathroom. Well supplied kitchen. Very comfortable living area with large smart TV.Beautiful wrap around deck with BBQ and picnic table overlooking an amazing bay view.Adirondack chairs across the street to relax.An incredible trail just down the street.If there is a negative it is the parking arrangement. The parking area for 2 cars directly to the right of the house where the stairs up to the house are located were not assigned to us. For some reason they were allocated to the house across the street. We had to park down the street and haul all our luggage up to the house and try to manoeuvre beside the cars that were parked there that gave us very little room.Other than that, highly recommend."
