Grant Village - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"Great location, conveniently located inside Yellowstone National Park with easy access to all the major attractions. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the poor Wi-Fi connection."
Travelodge by Wyndham Gardiner Yellowstone Park North
10/10 Excellent
"If you are looking for a place to stay during your trip to Yellowstone National Park, this hotel is exactly what you need. Located in Gardiner, MT the hotel is a 3 minute drive from the North Entrance. They have made it very public in the lobby and small notes in the room to show you that they are making the commitment to running a greener business. They recently upgraded the AC unit in our room to newer more efficient models. With the 90s summer heat and wildfire smoke these new ACs were so important to us. The shower was a weird shape and was kind of awkward, but other than that this room is perfect for what we needed. Some elk like to hang out in the lawns and houses around the hotel so you may have some surprise visitors in the early mornings and evenings."
Super 8 by Wyndham Gardiner/Yellowstone Park Area

Yellowstone Big Rock Inn

Yellowstone River Motel
10/10 Excellent
"The motel was easy to find and within walking distance of the town which had so many small restaurants and stores. The manager/owner was so very friendly and helpful in providing information not only about the motel but about the community. The back patio looking out on the river was so refreshing and we even had a female elk come up the bank right to the wall to feed on bushes there!"
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"well we arrived at 11pm and left at 5am for Yellowstone. Staff was awesome very friendly but I would not stay here again. Too expensive. It is basically a Super 8. The shower was a plastic enclosure big enough for one and a tiny "one" at that it. I get it: location, location, location but $300 for a road side motel? There was a giant spider in the bathroom in the morning as well. For $300 a night and full parking lot you would think they could have some adequate pest control. On a good note in less than 3 minutes we were at the park entrance. I believe this is the best spot to get to Lamar Valley -- it took us about 70 minutes to get there. "
