Beautiful historic hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Restaurant served delicious food. Only issue was no bellhops available when we checked in at 7 pm. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but it was no too much of an issue even in July.
Only stayed a night, marvellous hotel, beautiful interior, stunning lake views. Considerations request rooms away from reception area as customer traffic and entertainment , can be noisy am & pm. This does not detract from stay, we had an early start so happy to be up early . Dining room is magnificent, high quality food. Best steak ever. All staff gorgeous and helpful, polite, friendly add to stay Loved our stay.
What a beautiful hotel! Perfect location within the park. The hotel had a quartet that plays every night in the summer, which was a special way to cap off the night. Make sure you make dinner reservations far in advance if you want a 5-7pm time. Made the trip more memorable to be in such a historic building as well. Will come back again!
This is a beautiful old hotel. If you are looking for downtown denver, this isn't the place for you. But, if you are looking for a luxurious old hotel, with huge, beautiful common rooms and basic bedrooms and bathrooms, this is the place for you. If you require wifi and television, go elsewhere. If you like incredible views, helpful staff, good food, a string -quartet with your cocktail, and friendly people, stay here.
This cabin was better than expected but still way over priced. Clean, comfortable and convenient location. Saw elk and bison on the property which was cool. Would not stay here again because of the price. Just not worth it.
Incredible location - hotel and cabins are nice - food options very limited and staff seemed unaware of the lack of options and need to make reservation before you arrive to eat close by
Hotel is good and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive, but food options were limited and very expensive! I would not stay there again

The room as clean nice and cozy. No WiFi unless you drive up to the lodge. We didn’t mind tho. Great break for technology. We seen lots of elk right near our cabin. Absolutely will book again
The hotel is in a good location. It is quite old but has been remodeled. Unfortunately I would say the remodel work has caused the hotel to lose its charm. The rooms are just OK, no Wi-Fi, no AC and the restaurant is so busy it's hard to get in for meals. Other dining options are very limited. For the price here it just isn't worth it. I would pass on this hotel and stay outside the park.
This was a pleasant surprise to us. We didn’t realize it was so historic (built in 1891) and beautiful. We also didn’t know they had a string quartet that played in the lobby. We were in the newer part (finished in 1923) and our room had a days gone by charm to it, reminded us of the Waldorf in New York. I highly recommend staying at this gorgeous and historic property!
Staying here felt like a step back in time. Gorgeous property that was rich in history and not very crowded or commercial. The views were stunning and the dining room was the best in the park. I wish I had stayed more than one night!
