"This was a perfect overnight accommodation for us to stop and visit the Paestum Archaeological Park, traveling up from Sicily to Naples. The room was just what we needed. The staff were super kind and helpful. They offered a nice dinner in their restaurant, and breakfast was included the next morning before we walked just a few minutes down the road to the park and were permitted to leave our car there so we would not have to pay additional parking fees!"

We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). "Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. Not thrilled to see house cat walking on kitchen countertops and workspaces in the evening. Although they do not serve dinner, you can not bring a pizza there to eat at dinner time. 'The other...

It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all. It was always warm in the room. After the second morning...

"But should be reported spectacular hotel service was top notch we had an issue with the room that came up at 1:00 in the morning to take care of it every time you can go to hotel you can have problems with rooms they came right away we didn't have to wait till the following day beautiful beautiful grounds the block from the beach the hook the hotel had a spectacular pool it was overall a great experience breakfast every morning was wonderful I would definitely recommend coming and staying here some of the nicest hotels"

"Hotel Venere is right on the main street in town. The Pizza/Sub place across the street was a great choice. We had a double room w/sleep sofa. (Very comfortable) for 5 adults. This was one of the only rentals that would take a couple of days instead of Saturday to Saturday. The young man behind the desk was very helpful and spoke English. We will definitely stay there again. "

"I had an all-round excellent experience at Borgo dei Saraceni - Domus Indomita. It is located in a safe and quiet area with many dining options within walking distance.
