The hotel had beautiful grounds and a nice swimming pool. The room was nice and clean, but simple. We atedinner and it was delicious, as was the morning breakfast. All in all a great stay and we would do it again. If you are going to see the Temples, it is worth a stay. "

"This hotel has superb facilities, spa, pools, party/meeting rooms.What is deficient, is the information available to guests. The room we were in had no hotel directory, printed or on TV. The restaurant is not well advertised, the menu is not available in the rooms. Same for the room service menus for the restaurant or the bar. Could also use the Express checkout system."

Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. "This hotel is not even close rating 4 stars. It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all. It was always warm in the room. After the second morning...

"Hotel Venere is right on the main street in town. The Pizza/Sub place across the street was a great choice. We had a double room w/sleep sofa. (Very comfortable) for 5 adults. This was one of the only rentals that would take a couple of days instead of Saturday to Saturday. The young man behind the desk was very helpful and spoke English. We will definitely stay there again. "

We had a well equipped sea view room which was very comfortable and air conditioned. Breakfast was very good. The pool area and gardens are well kept and there is plenty of parking. Staff were all very helpful. Would certainly stay again. "

"Historic 19th century manor modernized approximately for a lovely stay. War the museum and archeological site, yet away from the busy entrance cares. A wonderful restaurant that one needs to reserve for an exclusive chef directed dinner. Novel and well prepared. With special touches that Chef Luigi creates. Other excellent restaurants and bistros in walking distance. This boutique hotel is best for adults, but children would be fine —just not at the restaurant. Fresh fruit and chef-baked bread are part of the buffet breakfast as is home made cheeses and condiments. A great place to be after a day walking among ancient ruins and elegant temples."

"We went in late May, so before the main season. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms - book one with a sea view, it's amazing. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating and sunbeds. Good parking arrangements. Staff are friendly and willing to help. If there was an area for I would suggest some alternatives to the baked sweet goods, although if you have a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat. Eggs were available on request and they were good. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the world and the hotel is a perfect place to enjoy it."
