"We had wonderful holiday with our son's wedding in the middle of it. Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. As I have MS it was wonderful to be in such a relaxed place where I could rest as much as I needed while within walking distance of beautiful beaches and great restaurants & bars. "Nice looking little hotel, not on the cleanest street, but close to the beach. I was shown to my room, which was quite small so Iasked for a larger one. They were very obliging, and gave me a different room, which was a bit bigger, even though I lost the pool view....I didn't mind. There was nowhere to put my luggage, other than on the floor. Very limited hanging space, the towels were quite thin and rough and no robes provided. I would have expected some little luxuries given the description...

"What a lovely little surprise Hotel Giardino San Michele is! Very clean, quite comfortable, neutrally furnished, with very nice staff (one of whom speaks some English). I stayed for 2 nights while visiting my Italian cousins near by, and will definitely stay again when I'm in the area."

"Beautiful, private, comfortable, authentic. Giuseppe was always available, kind, and generous; he even picked me up at the station. I found the experience of living under the olive trees deeply transformative. The walk to Pisciotta is steep and lovely, taking 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your level of fitness. Walking to the beach is more like 40 minutes to an hour. Don't forget the part about sheets and towels."
