The inn keeper was fantastic. The grounds and inn were beautiful and well kept. I can’t say enough about the overall comfort vibe enough. I will say there are a few things that need further consideration. Such as, leaving matches and anything you might need to light the fireplace in our room. Really just the little touches that may be missing. But I would definitely recommend and would stay there again. A really exceptional inn. ❤️

We stayed 3 nights here and it was so hard to leave! The breakfasts were incredible and delicious. There was always coffee, tea, and treats set out to enjoy. The room was cozy and the Inn was within walking distance of the downtown area! Isabella and Stefan were wonderful to talk to and the BnB experience is 100% worth the price tag! We understand why people opt for this personal touch and incredible food experience. They also went out of their way to make our anniversary trip feel extra special with personal touches. Thank you Isabella, Stefan and staff!

Our stay was truly amazing! Clefstone Inn is exceptionally well-kept and spotlessly clean, offering unique, cozy, and homey rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly and incredibly informative, even offering great recommendations and arranging access to a neighboring hotel's pool, jacuzzi, and gym when we had rainy weather disrupted our park plans. Breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious, featuring a choice of sweet or savory dishes complemented by homemade cookies, muffins, or fresh bread pudding. We loved their daily 3:00 PM pantry service with fresh-baked goods, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, which they also offered to go bags for your snacks. The property offered free parking which was never an issue! This charming B&B exceeded all expectations and made for a wonderful getaway and would 100% recommend to anyone!

It was a great proximity to downtown Bar Harbor. We had room 17 and it was pretty small. Overall nice and cozy, but a few things were gross and could easily be addressed. The first one is mold in the shower. No one wants that. The second is that there was a frosted glass door to the bathroom and one of the windows was broken and tape was holding it together. One really nice amenity is being able to use the pool and hot tub of the adjacent hotel.

Lovely property, excellent location, and exceptionally friendly staff. The breakfasts and daily snacks were a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The only suggestion I would make is to pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the carpets and floors. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our experience.

Loved the quaint feeling! Perfect location to Acadia & Bar Harbor. Upon arrival our flights were delayed, so I contacted the property to make them aware of a late check in. They left us our room key & made the check in process seamless. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good & unique every morning! Also, a plus- you are able to use the amenities (pool, hot tub, fitness center) at the property next door. Would stay here again 😊

Property is clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows are comfy. Stairs to rooms are narrow and require care going up and down. The fragrance used is a bit overwhelming- very hard to tolerate if you have a fragrance sensitivity.

It was clean, homemade gourmet breakfast, friendly staff, the kitchen was a nice touch, They only drawback was our room had a very short sloped ceiling which made it hard to navigate around, and the AC was old and not effective and with the outside temperature ranging between 75-95 the room was constantly warm. The common area was also not air-conditioned.

Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we have was the WiFi is spotty at best in room 3. I know we were in Maine to escape the normal day to day and our phones but the WiFi didn’t even support the smart tv in the room. Wouldn’t deter us from coming back but it was annoying.
