"This place was perfect for our family of 4. The property was well kept, clean, and well stocked. The property is so beautiful and quiet. We spent most of our time during the day in Estes Park, which was a short 25 minute drive, and the drive itself is breathtaking. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat that isn’t too far from town, this place is perfect!Communication was clear and the check in and out process was simple. We were hoping to see some wildlife during our stay and just as we were leaving, we saw a moose which was pretty cool.When we return to the area, we’ll definitely choose this property again, and I’ve already recommended it to a friend who’s traveling to Colorado soon."

"Our room in the lodge (#1) had 2 double/queen beds and worked well for the four of us in our family. The AC and fans were very helpful since it was hot that week, and the shower/bathroom was excellent ... and great to have the mini fridge and such as well. A beautiful room in a lovely area and right next to Allenspark."

"Debby and Bernie are excellent hosts. They met us at the property and went through everything carefully with us to ensure we had a good time. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness throughout our stay. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed walks into RMNP from our doorstep, and easy access to Wild Basin, Long's Peak and Lily Lake trails. We had a fantastic stay."

"This rustic cabin had plenty of room for our large group. Close to an event venue we were visiting. We loved the records and record player. Appreciated the updated bathrooms. Adequate air-conditioning. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed (note: don't use the microwave, coffee maker and electric tea kettle at the same time or you'll need to reset the breaker). We had a wonderful time at Ferncliff Lodge."

"We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. The cabin is quaint, peaceful, and feels like a true retreat. We especially loved relaxing in the hammocks by the aspen grove—it was one of our favorite parts of the property. The setting is private and quiet, making it a wonderful place to unplug.Guests should know that part of the cabin's charm is its vintage aesthetic. It is not modern, but that's part of what makes it special. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.The only drawback was that we had no cell phone service, and the Wi-Fi was somewhat spotty. While that made it easy to disconnect and enjoy our vacation, it also left us a little concerned about being able to reach the owners or anyone else if an emergency arose.Overall, this was a charming and relaxing place to stay, and we'd happily return."
