"A truly delightful house with a lot of French charm. Large kitchen, living room with fireplace and pool table, 3 bathrooms and a ton of bedrooms. A nice garden area in the back for relaxing. The home is pretty old but has been beautifully renovated. Catherine, the owner, lives next door and has 2 friendly dogs as well as ducks and chicken. Catherine was friendly and answered all questions quickly. Highly recommend!"

"We had a very nice week. The house was agreeably cool in summer. We felt very much at home. The overall layout is very generous regarding the price.The location ist perfect for exploring the coast, Caen and Bayeux, and we were not short of alternatives for sights within a range of half an hour driving.A car ist necessary, though, since Villons les Buissons is such a small and quiet village and there is no supermarket close by."

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

"The kitchen had more cooking equipment, crockery and utensils than I'm used to seeing in a holiday home. The grounds were lovely, and the location was perfect for walking or driving to the beach every day. The hosts were charming and we felt our dog was very welcome in the house and grounds (often not the case in UK rentals). "
