"Loved this place nice and quiet"

"This house was perfect, well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. Great layout and dog friendly. We stayed for a week, worked from here (fast Internet) and enjoyed hiking and eating out. We had never stayed in the summer and it's such a fun place to be without snow. Would definitely stay here again."

"The house was very cozy, well appointed, and full of personality. It is a dark home in case you are planning on working or anything needing light. Not a lot of natural interior light or side table lamps. The beds were very comfortable. There are many high-end details in the house. The owner is very helpful and a good communicator. Excellent neighborhood."

"Overall I will say we had a pleasant stay. Positives: It was a great location and the view was beautiful. The weather was great so we found the deck a pleasant place to spend time. Though the place is dated it had a new oven and a small gas grill which was a nice surprise. Negatives: It took getting used to being comfortable showering in front of huge windows with no curtain. It is a great view but it just felt awkward facing out front especially for my two 20yr old girls. Also, there is only one proper shower. The master bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub with hand held shower that does not extend to standing height. Meaning you need to be sitting or in my case kneeling to use. Lastly, though I am sure things were clean, there were a lot of stains on the carpet and towels and scuff marks on the walls . Suggestions: they may want to consider getting a tension rods and curtains for the bathroom windows that guests could choose to put up or not. At least give the option. Throw out the toaster, it looks like it caught on fire . Conclusion: Once we got used the place it felt comfortable and I would stay again ."

"Our stay was wonderful and Just what our family needed. Beautiful main room with big windows looking out into the forest. Hot tub on the main deck was ideal! Bed's were comfortable and plenty of towels for showering and hot tubbing. The community was quiet and so are we so that was a perfect, peaceful match for our family. We will definitely book again and would recommend this home to others."

"Lovely smaller sized house with a great location close to Truckee. Much enjoyed the hot tub, air hockey table and pool table. I would bring your own condiments for cooking (no salt to be found) and your own shampoo and conditioner (only tiny packets of powder versions are provided). Otherwise the other issues people mentioned didn't bother us (no locks on door, etc). Enjoyed the house and would rebook this property if available."

"The house was excellent - clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We did run into an issue with the dashwasher not working, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will plan to stay here again if we're able."
