"This was the worst experience we have had at a hotel in a long time. We were booked into a suite on the second floor which could only be reached by outside steps which were uneven and rough (no elevator). Although the rooms were very large and had a kitchenette, there were absolutely no plates, pots, pans, utensils, or anything else of any kind in the kitchen area. There was no way to cook anything or even warm anything up because there were no microwave and no coffee maker. Every drawer in the suite was completely empty. The room was noisy, and even though it was a no smoking room, there were people seated outside our door smoking at various times. There was no breakfast offered at the property, so we had to drive to a restaurant several blocks away to get some food to bring it back to the room. We were glad to quickly get away from this awful place. Please do not recommend it to anyone else."
"The hotel is very dated (1970s era). It was clean and neat, but guests need to understand they are going to a very old hotel. The original description did not indicate it at all. I do commend them for having a clean facility even though it is so old. The breakfast was not good."
"This cabin and property were great! We felt so much peace and calm. The PERFECT place for birding and enjoying nature and wildlife. We would like to return every year."
"Minimal staff, only the receptionist. No one tidied up my room or replaced towels or coffee supplies. My shower had what I think was pseudonymous growing in the corners and the floors were pretty dirty. The hallways smelled like wild oinions."
Cozy Love Shack: Rustic Log Cabin, Outdoor Living Room/Treehouse, & Fireplaces
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this place! My wife says it was "cute, clean, and cozy!" We loved how secluded and private the property was. We spent our mornings on the front porch, enjoying the sounds of the woods with our coffee! We spent the evenings under the pavilion with a fire in the fireplace and a show on the TV! Really nice place! If there is one knock (and this wasn't a big deal to us) it would be that you have to climb down from the loft in the night to get to the bathroom. I would FOR SURE recommend this place (unless you're trying to stay the same dates that we plan to come back... haha)!"
