"Always nice staying there."

"The staff was unfriendly & unorganized. The room had missing light bulbs, an overflowing toilet, no hot water & no towels. The breakfast room was filthy. There was an extra large jar of peanut butter & large jar of jelly (both left out without there lids on) with one knife to use for both, cereal in dispenser containers that were not clean. A small cooler/refrigerator with an almost empty gallon of milk & 4 yogurts. Other than coffee & juice, that was all there was. The coffee “station” was disgusting. It hadn’t been cleaned or even wiped down in quite sometime. "

"Nice boutique hotel in an old chocolate factory. Red brick building with views of the Mississippi River just a block away. Easy walking along the river and to downtown bars, restaurants, and shops. There are several franchise/chain hotel options downtown, but the Charmant is the unique boutique. "

"The Hotel has potential but half of it was under construction and that was not listed anyplace when I booked or I would not have stayed there. The pool was open but looked bad with all the construction going on. The Room was ok but the bed had stains on it and the bathroom was not clean. The AC unit was loud and very old and it would cut on and off every 5 min I could not sleep all night because how loud it was. "

"Beautifully private place to relax with my spouse. Enjoyed the unique experience of the caboose. Able to unwind in the hot tub. Enjoyed the fire place. Wonderful host who goes above and beyond to assure guest comfort."
