Hotel Richelieu

Hotel Richelieu
Calais City Center
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (277 reviews)
"I don't think this place should be called a hotel. The "lobby" is a bare hallway, there are no staff, even though the reviews mention them, the whole building is being renovated and halls, stairs etc. are wooden and noisy. We thought we had booked a balcony room but didn't get one. There is a hand held shower only over the bath and apologetic notices everywhere about the work. Large bed, comfortable and clean. A very basic, very central stay with free parking outside, very close to restaurants...
