I stayed here for 4 nights and the Abbott was an excellent choice. It is withing walking distance of everything that you need. Restaurants, shops and supermarket, and the marina. There is a great lounge in the hotel which is complete with a coffee machine, bottled water and tea. You will not be disappointed if you choose the Abbott.

I really liked this little hotel and would stay here again. It’s a good price for the area it’s in - easily walkable to the Marina and esplanade for shopping, night market, restaurant options. Staff are helpful and had good communication regarding a late check-in and what to do with no one at the front desk. Room was spacious and clean.

Super friendly staff, and a lovely clean, quiet haven for resting after exploring Cairns and the GBR! Walking distance to the Lagoon, the Esplanade, the Art Museum, so many restaurants and cafes, and very close to the airport. Love that there is free laundry onsite for guests and the amenities offered (free water, espresso, small snacks in the lounge). Staff are friendly and clearly care about making the experience wonderful. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Cairns!

The location is great, you can walk everywhere. There are excellent dining options nearby, we loved Bang and Grind cafe for great food coffee and service. Antonio is delightful and very helpful There is a nice guest coffee lounge available

The Abbott Boutique Hotel is located smack bang in Cairns Central; its biggest advantage. Its location is a skip and a hop to Woolworths, cafes, restaurants, and the esplanade. The Reef Casino is a five minute walk.The Abbott Boutique Hotel has a coffee station which is located in a lounge room on level one, where guests can relax. I found the hotel location outstanding, made my way by foot to the night markets, Rusty’s Markets, and Cairns Central shopping centre. Almost anywhere is a walking distance to Abbott Boutique Hotel.

Comfortable and clean, fantastic location.
Great location, close to everything. Comfortable and clean. Ideal for a night out or short stay. Wardrobe door was broken and tape on the cupboard. The hotel looked like it was having a few renovations in some of the rooms. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Service was very good. As I was having a lot of trouble getting my luggage in the front door staff member left reception and came out and helped. When I had to wait for family to collect me staff member advised me that I could have another hour in my room free of charge. Room spacious and clean and pleasant looking. In fact whole hotel had a nice look about it. What I didn't like was reception hours: the reception should be open for incoming guests and to assist guests with problems for a much longer time than it is.

Have stayed here a few times and is the absolute best for in city location to walk to night markets, esplanade and amazing bars and restaurants. Each room has coffee facilities but if you venture out to the common room area you have a great sitting layout with views and a fantastic FREE pod coffee machine. You can choose from a great selections of coffees. The staff are always friendly and have accommodated me with early check in's when available.
