After staying there 3 times in the last month I found that all the rooms I stayed in have the aircon temperature set to around 24 degrees even though you can use the remote to set to 18 degrees they still won’t get any cooler. This lead to a sweaty sleepless night stay But car parking is really convenient

Very friendly staff who make up for the age of the property. Room small. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very easy to park. Small pool kids enjoyed. Only complaint is fluorescent lighting.

The room was fine, basic but clean. Bed was comfy Receptionists were lovely. Plenty of parking. A lift fot the 3rd floor. Value for money. Would stay again.

Don't waste your money.
One night stay: The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood. Cleaner walked in at 9am, we where naked in bed. Screamed out as I heard door open. No hot water or decent pressure. Only good thing was guy at counter friendly.

Stayed 1 night checked in no problem room not bad bed good Carpet a little worn but you only walk on it . Noise was really good not much at all for hotel stayed in standard room king bed shower ok I think it is good for price close to cairns private hospital park out back well lite up card entry . To building if you are after cheap it is not bad service was good .all you need

The prepared room was v smelly, run down, bath was not clean!! We needed to move to another hotel and got no refund! The price asked for this lousy so called Hotel far overpriced !! If you want to stay in a run down Hotel and pay lot go for it ! The response from Wotif was as well not very good! Concerning the refund The Hotel will not refund hence you will not get anything back! I offered pictures and no request at all! The interest of the paying customer comes last !!

Safe and quiet part of Cairns CBD. Arrived early but a room was available before official check in time. Aircon very efficient, something vitally necessary in the tropics during the Wet Season.

A short but nice stay
Had one night stay at this nice hotel close to Cairns CBD. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean. No restaurant onsite but there is a small but nice pool and spa. Could do with some eco-friendly additions like fillable shampoo, soap and bath gel. Overall a nice stay

Although the staff at the hotel were excellent, the hotel itself is quite dated. Don't expect all the modern amenities and you will be satisfied. It is also located some distance from the waterfront, so if you are looking for activities to do while you are there, you will have to find transportation or walk for about 25 minutes.

Some small ants in the room, very slow Wi-Fi, air conditioner froze over and made very loud sounds until defrosted, no beach towels, initially given keys to an occupied room on check-in. Not a good stay.

Very clean and in a good area. Easy walking to shops, restaurants. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Only drawback was the pool, smaller than appears in online photos. I had a lovely time in Cairns and will go back for another holiday there.

It is located within walking distance of the Esplanade, restaurants, and the marina. The friendly reception staff members,Cynthia and Olivia,were very helpful and responsive to our needs and requests and provided outstanding service. The rooms were comfortable with fresh linens and towels but could do with some deep cleaning.

Very dirty, mould in the bathroom, rundown
Cleanliness not up to par. Mould in the silicon, grout and super obvious visible mould on the ceiling in the shower, soap scum on the tiles, corroding taps and broken tiles in the bathroom. Dirty carpet. The place is just very run down with no money invested into maintenance and upkeep. Maybe we got the dodgy room down the back as it looked pretty different from the pictures? Reception was nice enough and no issues with check-in or parking. Comfort of the bed was ok, not great not bad. We only had a quick overnight stay before an early flight otherwise I would have found an alternative hotel. Will be staying somewhere else next time we’re in Cairns.
