"Business traveler here. The parking was safe and easy-appreciate the dedicated spots for hotel guests. Communication before check in was very good as this was my first stay there. Room was very clean and loved the decor. Rarely say this- I will plan to end my day earlier to enjoy the hotel and restaurant. Highly recommend. Enjoyed the concept!"

"We've stated here multiple times & this was the worst stay. When we arrived to our room, there were zero drinks/snacks available. We went to the restaurant & let the front desk girl know & her response is that sometimes they do that if there are under age kids staying there. No problem, but I would think they might go restock it but that didn't happen.The next day, we were out for the majority of the day & when we returned, it still hadn't been restocked & housekeeping hadn't been in our room. I then showered & the water stopped almost to a dribble 5 mins in? I've definitely had better experiences during previous stays. I hope this hotel isn't going downhill because the atmosphere/vibe is really great! "

"This is a staffless row of suites across from the Pioneer Pocket hotel. You park right in front of your suite which includes a separate living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The room was clean, featured extra toiletries, and was convenient to downtown dining. This is our new favorite in Lubbock and was very reasonably priced."

"Room was dirty, bathroom dirty, shower had hairs and etc in it. room was nothing like photos on hotels.com site. linens were stained. had to chase the staff in the morning for towels to take a cold shower (no hot water) plenty of parking though...."

"I would not recommend staying here. The house is located in a bad neighborhood, and the burglar bars on the back window made me feel unsafe right away. There was about a one-inch gap around the front door frame, which made the place feel insecure and poorly maintained.The mattress was ripped, and there was trash in the backyard, which made the property look neglected and not well cared for.Because I did not feel safe, I left the next day and did not stay the rest of my reservation. I did not ask for a refund for the night I stayed, only for the nights I did not stay, but the host refused to refund them. She also waited until after checkout time to respond to my messages and then tried to charge me a 27 late checkout fee, even though I had already explained that I left early due to safety concerns.When I brought these issues to her attention, the host was rude and dismissive instead of helpful.I am very grateful for VRBO customer service for intervening and helping resolve the situation.Overall, this was a very uncomfortable experience, and I would suggest others stay somewhere else if safety and communication matter."
