Conchal Hotel

"If you're in the area, I cannot recommend Conchal enough. It's a gorgeous little boutique hotel with a small number of rooms, which makes the experience feel less cookie-cutter. The staff are incredible, & the space itself looks exactly like the pictures - full of greenery & wildlife, & the pool is perfect. Things to note if you plan on staying here: - It's not a luxury hotel, but the staff will give you luxury hotel service. - The hotel itself is right off a main road, so you WILL hear traffic at all times of the day - The hotel is about a 15-18 minute walk to Playa Conchal, which is the beach you'd want to spend the day at. However, the closest beach is only about 5 minutes away, & it is perfect for sunset. - I would recommend this hotel as a home base, filling your days with different excursions/outings. - The restaurant is lovely - lots of yummy options. However, if you opt in for the hotel breakfast, it does not include the full restaurant menu, but 3 different options and a fruit plate to go with them all. Similarly, they have a few cereals out during breakfast time. - You're about a 10 min taxi away from Playa Flamingo - Lots of yummy restaurants within walking distance - If you can, I'd recommend asking for a room not underneath the restaurant to avoid noise above you when they close/open the restaurant With all that in mind, I would absolutely return to this hotel."

"What a great trip or group of 5 families (9 adults, 9 teens) had in this property! Each of the bungalows was identical with a large deck, a small kitchen area, two spacious bedrooms and two expansive bathrooms. The AC in the bedrooms was perfect. We opted to have Alicria cook our dinners and some breakfasts for us and they were outstanding. She hit the quantities of everything spot on, and accommodated our mix of meat eaters and vegetarians perfectly. Sher, the concierge took care of finding us the best activities and vendors. We had surf lessons, an estuary tour, daily yoga and a sunset tour. All of the providers she worked with were fantastic. The pool was cleaned daily and started a wonderful temperature even though it was so hot outside. Manfred, the owner was responsive when we requested some fans for the shelter above the communal kitchen. Our group could not have been happier with this rental--the perfect blend of private and public space, great food at great prices, and beachfront on a sandy, deserted, beautiful beach with warm swimmable water. What more could you want?"

"Our stay at Casa Frisons was absolutely amazing! Our host Bilitis was exceptional from the very beginning and helped us with every detail of our trip. She arranged transportation to and from the airport, golf cart rental, and put us in touch with an event company and private chef for a surprise proposal. Bilitis was kind, responsive, and had great recommendations...she's the perfect host. The home was absolutely amazing with the most stunning views. We were greeted by Benjamin and other staff upon arrival and Benjamin was beyond helpful with any need we had during our stay. Natalie and the rest of the cleaning crew were wonderful and did a great job. Bilitis and her staff went out of their way to help us have the most amazing vacation. Everything was truly spectacular and exceeded our expectations. We were all sad to leave and would highly recommend this property."

"This property was incredible. The staff were friendly and incredibly attentive. Excursions were fun. Our only negative was the food. Breakfast was perfect every morning at the market but the remaining meals were fair at best."

"We had the most amazing vacation stay in this beautiful home on Playa flamingo! The home is spacious with a wonderful infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean! There’s plenty of room to spread out and Yesenia was wonderful helping us keep the place clean. We will definitely return."
