Villa Fugata: This truly spectacular one-of-a-kind home is a brand new awe-inspiring 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom luxury home that sits directly oceanfront on a cliff perched 100 feet above the pacific Ocean. Each bedroom features its own full bathroom, high end beds/linens, and spectacular décor and finishes. The property features A/C throughout and boasts a few different private decks on both levels including a private 2nd level deck that sits perched above the ocean. The beautiful infinity edge pool will leave you refreshed and relax as you take in the truly breathtaking 180 degree views above the waves, beaches, coves and estuaries of gorgeous Playa Flamingo!

The kitchen has been designed for the discerning food lover, with Professional stainless equipment, refrigerator, wine cooler, oven, dishwasher and gas cooktop stove. There is also a washer and dryer, phone, WiFi and cable TV. All of this is intermingled with the spacious living area with ample seating and is a space that seamlessly blends from indoors to outdoors with an open air concept. Relax on the sunset terrace, enjoy the sundeck on your chaise lounge or just take a seat and overlook the infinity pool as the picture perfect sunset spectacle happens daily. Nature abounds around Villa Fugata including monkeys, birds, iguanas, butterflies, and even whales in season!

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I spent a week at this amazing Villa and loved every aspect of the home and the experience. Bilitis, Benjamin and the entire team do a fantastic job taking care of the home and their guests. The views are incredible and the home exceeded our expectations. Overall, a great trip - it just went by way too fast.

Great house for family with older kids

Fantastic experience - beautiful house, incredible views and a great staff! This is a great spot for older kids, and the golf cart made getting around really easy.

Lovely Villa in Playa Flamingo

We had a beautiful stay at Villa Fugata. From the daily staff support, arranged golf cart to drive to restaurants, grocery, and beach, the amazing infinity pool, and expansive deck overlooking the ocean, everything about our visit was perfect. The host was incredibly helpful for all of our requests. Loved it!

One of the best vacation rentals of all time. The owner/host Bilitis was extremely nice, as was her team, very helpful at check-in and all during our stay. The home itself is stunning with great design and one of the best views in Costa Rica. Would highly recommend and will be back later this year for sure.

Fabulous in Flamingo

What a fantastic place to stay in Costa Rica. So close to so many activities and beaches but such a quiet and serene location!! The views were magical and the pool and lounges were fabulous if you don’t want to pack up and go to a beach. The house was so clean and the whole house and pool areas were cleaned everyday. New bath towels and beach towels were restocked everyday and our laundry was done and waiting for us every night. I can’t think of anything that would have made our trip better. I am already planing another trip back. Costa Rica was Lovely and staying here is a must.

Spectacular vacation!

What an amazing property! Villa Fugata was a perfect getaway. The house was spotless and the view is incredible. We loved early morning coffee on the deck and sunsets from the pool. Bilitis, the owner, was very responsive to all of our questions from before booking through our entire stay. The on site staff was very efficient and we hardly knew they were there. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back again!

Amazing stay at Villa Fugata

We were delighted from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by breathtaking views across the ocean with the mountains and beaches all around. The infinity edge pool was perfect for a morning swim and afternoon & evening dips. We were 2 couples traveling together. The set up was perfect. The decor was lovely. The location was terrific - close to beaches, restaurants, markets and shops. We all would highly recommend.

Wonderful family vacation at this spectacular property

What got our attention initially was the pictures of the gorgeous house with the infinity pool and the ocean views, but what really finalized our plan was the hospitality shown by the property manager Bilitis. She was warm and responsive (even when she was away on another continent). Her onsite staff were sweet and attentive even though we could only communicate through Google translate. We hope we can return to Villa Fugata, or the bigger property next door (served by the same team) with our extended family.

This home—its location, design, presence, vibe and spirit—is nothing short of sublime magic. The owner is perfectly attentive, and genuinely wants your stay to be perfect. Paradise!

We had an amazing stay celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. Bilitis was amazing to work with and went above and beyond with any information we needed, even helped us set up car rental and golf cart rental. She also suggested beaches restaurants etc etc. The cleaning staff, and staff onsite are the most kind and helpful people we have ever met. We are so thankful to have found this piece of paradise and already working on our trip back. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay amazing. ❤️

Amazing Villa !

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa . The views are just spectacular ! We would highly recommend it . The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook yourself a dinner and enjoy the view or Bilitis recommended chefs were all amazing as well . Make sure to take advantage of in villa massages with that view you will feel in heaven . Celine and Bilitis were always very responsive to any questions we had. Villa’s staff does a great job at keeping it all very clean every day . We had a great stay ! Thank you !

Stunning

I have traveled all over the world, and by far, this villa was simply stunning! This place is one for the books, and will be hard to beat! Everything about Villa Fugata was perfect. There is nothing more to say! Would highly recommend renting a golf cart, it is the perfect mode of transportation for the area, and all you need if you book any excursions to explore. Bilitis was an amazing host and it was very difficult to leave this beautiful place. This was our third time visiting Costa Rica, and by far, the best place we have ever stayed.

Sad to leave

We had the most amazing experience at Villa Fugata. The home is absolutely beautiful and it has the most amazing view where you can enjoy sunsets. While there are many great homes and beautiful views, this one also has an amazing owner. Bilitis made sure that our stay was perfect. She helped us plan before arrival, added some amazing touches for our family at Christmas, and was so helpful whenever we needed anything. We loved our trip to flamingo and to villa fugata and we can’t wait to return. Thank you again Bilitis!

We said we’d be back

Villa Fugata is like a second home to us now that we’ve been back a second time, which we said we’d do after the first visit. The pandemic had us tethered to the US for the last few years, so our return to international travel began with a week of decompression and renewal at Villa Fugata. As we consider future travel, we hold anywhere to the standards set by our experiences here. Vistas from every seat, inside and out, and the sounds of nature the only interruption to the glorious tranquility. Thank you to Bilitis and her staff for making our re-entry to travel so perfect. Bucket list worthy Villa

Everyone should try to stay here at least once in their lifetime. The property is stunning both inside and out, and the views of the Pacific Ocean and it’s sunsets are unbeatable. Bilitis and her staff couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. The gift basket with wine and drinks, exceptional daily housekeeping/laundry service, and the books with restaurant/beach/activity recommendations are only a few of the things that they do to make sure your experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible. Everything is close by including the amazing beaches, most of the restaurants, grocery stores etc. The furthest we drove was about 25 minutes to Las Catalinas (which is well worth the visit!) We also went in the 2nd week of November which is still technically considered rainy season and the one thing I was worried about most but it was sunny everyday we were there. Im very grateful to have found this place as it’s definitely the best property I’ve stayed at and I highly recommend it to anybody looking to have a trip of a lifetime!

Trip of a lifetime!!

We spent Thanksgiving at Casa Frisons and Villa Fugata with 16 people, ranging in age from 7-70. Three generations who all agree that it was the trip of a lifetime with memories we will never forget, thanks to Bilitis. Both houses were spectacular with views you typically only dream about. Every afternoon we gathered around 3pm to start to watch the sunset, which was a highlight that we looked forward to everyday. Planning for 16 is no easy task, but Bilitis was very fast to respond with great recommendations every step of the way. She ensured we had the best chefs, activities planned, transportation, and more. She was there to greet us and give us a tour when we arrived and was also there at departure to send us on our way. Benjamin was wonderful along with the rest of the staff. We felt very safe and taken care of by all. We cannot wait to return to Casa Frison and Villa Fugata. Thank you Bilitis!
