While the hotel was more dated than a Montgomery Wards, the inn keeper greeted us warmly and the room was clean. I felt it was a good value and would stay here again.

This is an older place, a step back in time, but our beds were clean and comfortable! My husband said that was the best sleep he has had in over 3 weeks on the road.

A very clean older property. I usually stay here 1-2 times a year. Everything is always clean and Yan is very accommodating when I have to check in late.

The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to get us settled into the room. Great service! Property is dated, but very clean. This was the last hotel we stayed in on our 7 day cross country road trip, and the beds were the most comfortable, including the big name chain hotels we stayed in!

The property has been owned by the same gentleman for 18yrs. He walked us to our room and briefed on what we needed to know about the room. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant next door. This a good way station if you need to stop.

Great service on I-70

Our quick overnight stay was great! The owner brought us to the room and explained how the heat worked and where the light switches were. He went above and beyond for the cost. The bonus was a terrific Mexican restaurant right next door! Perfect and very comfortable for an older motel. Also very clean!

Simple and clean. Manager was very friendly and welcoming. My brother left his cell phone and he was so polite to call us as quickly as possible so I could drive back and retrieve it.

The owner/manager of the hotel was so friendly, efficient, and helpful. He checked me in quickly and then told me to get in my car and follow him around to where my room would be and carried my suitcase upstairs to the room! While I've come to expect this kind of service in most hotels in Asia, (and he is Asian- South Korean)- it is definitely above and beyond for a budget motel in the US and really made my day! The place is old and no-frills, but very clean and comfortable, and the room is more spacious than I'd imagined. There is a Mexican restaurant next door and a small grocery store a two minute walk away, so even though this is a rural area, just off the interstate, it's very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again if I was to pass through this way, and highly recommend to anyone who just wants a clean, safe place to sleep.

This is a older motel, it's a trip back to the 70s 80s, nothing fancy but it's very clean, the owner/staff are nice and beds are comfortable. Gas across street, General Store is next door, and Shooters diner is about 2 blocks away. Good place to stay in Byers.
