"We enjoyed our stay at Encantada Guest House. The communication prior to arrival was helpful, with many practical tips for our vacation in Costa Rica. The location of the guest house is wonderful for doing things in the area, it is very close to both Lake Arenal and Arenal volcano and you can see both from the road next to the house. It is a peaceful spot. We did many activities in the area and enjoyed walks in the morning to see the birds and views. We enjoyed our coffee on the patio while watching howler monkeys and toucans. Overall it was a great start to our vacation. Nita and Marty provide a nice starter basket of food, including bread products, coffee and eggs which was thoughtful. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Casa Ceiba in El Castillo. The view of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal is absolutely incredible—easily the highlight of the property. We spent so much time enjoying the outdoor space, especially the pool and hot tub, which were perfect after long days of exploring.The house itself was very comfortable and well maintained. The A/C worked great (which we definitely appreciated), and everything was clean and easy to use. The location felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to La Fortuna for activities.Overall, this was a perfect home base for our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
