Loved the veranda and the table and chairs so we could sit outside in the evening with a view across the lawn and to the trees. Breakfast was a feast - only disappointment was that we were only there for one night. We plan to return and stay for longer next time. "

"Clean and comfortable. A few maintenance issues to improve things but these did not detract from a very comfortable stay. (Kitchen tap was very loose/almost coming out / anglepoise lamp by sofa was too loose to be angled / bins had not been emptied). Thank you for a good stay though."

"Everything was perfect. Check in was great. Luca (I think) was friendly and really helpful and remembered us when we checked out. We are in the hotel twice and it was perfect. I have lots of food intolerances from a long term illness and the bar and restaurant staff and the kitchen were in incredibly helpful and got everything right both times, first go. Trust me this is unusual. It took Gordon Ramsey restaurant 3 times of sending out food before I gave up and didn’t eat. Room was lovely. We had a view of the river and a lovely balcony. Highlight was watching the cows on the opposite bank. We would definitely recommend and return. "
