This gorgeous, Grade II, mid-terraced cottage has a south-facing, enclosed, courtyard garden and is a short stroll from the river’s edge, a great place where you can sit and relax.

Lovingly decorated by the owner, the property offers period charm and character, complete with modern touches throughout to offer a wonderful retreat to enjoy all year. From here you can truly explore both the Norfolk Broads National Park and the Suffolk coast. It’s conveniently surrounded by pubs, restaurants and shops, so there is plenty to see and enjoy.

The area offers many trails and footpaths direct from its doorstep, so be sure to bring along your walking boots! The local area is packed with activities including day boat trips, walking and the seaside. The vibrant city of Norwich is within 30 minutes by car, where you can shop in the Norwich Lanes or visit the stunning cathedral and castle. The Cottage is set just below the Castle and its grounds.Beach 16 miles. Pub and restaurants 350 yards.

Lovely cottage and had a really enjoyable stay.

Lovely cottage and had a really enjoyable stay. Just a couple of points to mention; the log burner is in fact a gas fire with (for us) difficult controls which we didn’t master! Could do with clearer instructions . Heating system was great however so no real problem. The toaster control had to be held down to make toast. Petty to mention really but if owner is not aware then cannot know and repair/ change.Really nice reception and food at The Fleece, friendly locals and great walks locally on the common and various beaches. Will return, we loved the area.
