The attic room I stayed in was great and had an excellent view. The staff were friendly. As a solo backpacker looking to visit Gruyere with a one night stays in Bulle, the very limited check in/out times and inability to check a bag made it complicated to visit the HR Giger museum. The only window that worked involved taking the train to Gruyere in the morning to visit as soon as it opened at 10 am, then taking the train back to bulle in time for the noon checkout. it’s a short ride, and fine if you’re ready for the climb up the hill. It’s enough time to have a pretty thorough look at the museum.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was very helpful and receptive to our needs and also gave us good advise on things to do nearby. The only caveat was that there’s no air conditioning and it got pretty hot and humid one night (and we couldn’t figure out how to open the window). Staff helped us next day. Would definitely come back here for the next stay.

I have no complaints regarding the staff and hotel. My main issue was the noise from the street and the underground club that lasted until 5am.

Very nice property in the downtown Bulle
Great hotel in the heart of Bulle. Walkable to everything--train, bus, restaurants, shopping. Room was very clean and well-appointed. Refrigerator in the room. Staff was extremely helpful with navigating the area and with recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a two night stay and found the accommodation to be very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for those wishing to use public transport to visit Gruyeres,Broc, Charmey etc. Rates were competitive in the context of Switzerland.

Great location, easy access to public transportation, spacious and clean room and the staff were friendly and helpful. The city of Bulle is beautiful and also close to Gruyere.

The hotel is located in a very good location with free parking, we book this hotel almost every time when we go to Switzerland. The only negatieve point is the electricity system (sometimes the bottom doesn't work and all the evening our phones are not charged). For the rest the bed is very comfortable, clean but you need to put every time your dirty towels on the ground to let them change your towels otherwise if you forgot them then they will not change them. If you are looking for a good located and clean budget hotel it's for sure recommended.

The wifi username given was wrong and someone in the hotel was v loud at 0200 hrs, for an hour. Room was very good, clean and spacious, one minor point was the difficult shower gel dispenser. A good town to base oneself for local activities.

Friendly staff! The room was nice and big, the bathroom was big. The only bad point when you turn off the lights you don't have electricity anymore like you can't charge your phone during the night.

Check in process really easy and options for afterhours check in. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and good location close to Bulle train station for those you plan on getting around by public transport.

Check in was fantastic- such a helpful staff person who gave us discounts and tips on some of the local things to do. The room itself was nice, but we found the outside noise disrupted our sleep a bit. The bell tower is very nearby. We stayed Monday-Weds and didn't realize most businesses and restaurants are closed Monday, and some Tuesday too. The hotel restaurant was not open at all during the time we stayed. We found other places but it did take some effort. Something to keep in mind! Parking was fantastic and location was good for us exploring that region.

This hotel was amazing. It was so clean, you could eat off the floor. It was charming, and you can walk to the train station from there in 5 minutes. I had a great view of several sides of the town from my window, and the double pane windows cut the noise very well when the windows were closed. I was wandering around and the staff took the time to help me with the wifi and they were so polite, like they really wanted to be of service. I even got a bracelet to get discounts on museums and transportation etc. especially some of the points of interest in the village of Gruyeres, and the castle of Gruyeres which is a must see. I will be staying at this hotel again whenever I am in Switzerland!

The hotel had a great location. It was very clean and the room was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, just across from tourist information and near the major tourist attractions of the town, in addition to being near shopping and restaurants.

They need to fix the map- otherwise fine
The only problem was the location on the map was not correct. We called the phone number and the receptionist helped us get to the proper location a few blocks away. Otherwise fine- clean and convenient location free parking, not too big and f a city but very quaint and interesting!

Room felt like a 4 star hotel, large bathroom with all the essentials and a nice bedroom. Room was on the second floor with a nice balcony of the local area. The key they give you is a normal key for the room, and be aware that staff go home at around 6pm, so I'm not sure how check in works after that.

Beautiful and centrally located apartment. Quiet room facing the rear of the property but overlooked by neighbouring properties Note: the apartments are in building across the road from the main hotel Free car parking for approx 6/7 cars but local parking is cheap or disc driven and finishes at 4pm Saturday and free Sunday. Weird comment but no plug for the sink, nor a tea towel but washing up liquid provided. Also 2 dishwasher tablets provided.

Very poor service. No reception. No communication.
A nice place except for the fact that it has no reception. For that reason, the check in process is very complicated: one arrives at the hotel only to find a sign letting one know one the "reception" (not a reception but a business office) is far from there. What if one arrives late after office hours? What if one does not have Internet connection or a local phone? I regret that the hotel did not contact us by email before our check in to ask us our arrival time, etc. Very poor service.

Clean hotel but limited reception hours
The hotel must tell people that there is no overnight staff at the hotel in case the guest arrives after reception closes, i.e., 6pm. I found it the hard way when I arrived late and no one was there. Also, English language capability is not available so it was hard to communicate with the staff. They should also have a hairdryer in the rooms. For their hotel rating, this should be standard.

4 nuits dans votre hôtel du 25 au 29 janvier 2024. Au sous-sol se trouve une boîte de nuit. Vibrations fortes de la sono pendant 3 nuits jusqu'à 4 heures du matin ! Réponse de la réception: désolé, il y a des "boules quies" dans les tiroirs de votre chambre...Service de chambre approximatif. Vaisselle pas faite, tisanes et eau non ré-approvisionnés. Lits pas faits après 3e nuit. Autrement confort très correct et réception serviable.
