"My room was very nice and well cared for. I felt so at home that I actually got a full night of sleep - which is rare for me in an unfamiliar environment. Maria was lovely, as well. It was a joy to be checked in by her and she explained the details and layout of the showers and facilities expertly. Most importantly, perhaps, the location was perfect for me. Being right off Allen street, I got to explore Allentown in depth - one of the major reasons for my trip. I was also able to walk to the Buffalo Convention Center on Sunday morning. The accessibility to downtown was a surprise and is sure to make me a repeat customer. The only downside was I was really looking forward to having some scrambled eggs in the morning at the buffet - but there was ham in them. Obviously, I am not a vegan - but I am a vegetarian & I do love my eggs and veggie omelets. But that is a minor quibble. Overall, 10++!!! Brian"

"Downtown Buffalo is half urban-renewal empty lots and half glorious century-old buildings. The hotel is a well-run corporate-type place with friendly staff and clean facilities. A safe bet."

"The apartment was newly renovated and clean, although can improve floor cleaning. The place has essential supplies, not an actual kitchen. I appreciated mew washer and dryer in basement location. The place doesn't has hair dryer. I wish some improvement with hallway lighting at the entry way, since it was very dark even during day time. It took us a while to get acquainted with the neighborhood. The location was good, proximity to Buffalo center and convenient to get things done and well served function. "

"Unfortunately our stay was not very enjoyable. Not clean, completely unstocked kitchen ( not even salt n pepper), we had a very unsafe electricity event, and while the owner was immediately responsive, we lost power in both living, dining and kitchen. No tv, refrigerator ( which we had stocked with groceries) for the rest of the night. Only TV was in living room. They had electrician there the rest of day working on it. We had to find somewhere else to spend the day. I would say the kitchen was the biggest disappointment! No spices oils, nothing but air freshener, coffee pods, and a spray bottle labeled windex, but was actually fauloso, UGH. Some of the utensils were still dirty!!! Also, because of the way the units are situated, we heard all conversations, laughter and noise from the downstairs tenants late into the night. In addition, it snowed for two days, making driveway and walkway extremely slippery and difficult to walk on, they should have put out some salt at least in slightly elevated areas so we weren’t slipping down the driveway. We understand there was train traffic, but this was gran central, all night long. There should be a clear warning in their listing. I think VRBO needs better quality control of their offerings, this stay was less than, and we paid quite a bit for it. If you need pics we took some and can forward to you. I think we should at least be compensated for time out of unit and last groceries in fridge. "
