Great time with Family in this great 4 BR Mountain Getaway

Our whole family was very impressed with this 4 BR Mountain Getaway. There was enough space for everyone to kick back and relax. The beds where very comfortable and the view were awesome.

Outstanding Property

Perfect Labor Day getaway

Beautiful mountain getaway in Buena Vista to spend time with family and friends! Close enough to hikes and rafting. The property was perfect.

Great cabin!

Awesome cabin with plenty of room in beds for our party of 10. Beautiful views and property. About 30 minutes from Buena Vista.

Beautiful cabin

It was a beautiful cabin facing a lovely valley. It was peaceful and we felt very safe. The cabin is lovely, it was clean and the host was so accommodating. It was a wonderful weekend get away. We are saving the information for this property to rent it again.

Great family time outside of Buena Vista

My family, my brother’s family, and our parents met here and enjoyed our week. It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to drive into Buena Vista from here. The view from the house is lovely, and there were deer all over the property. The kitchens and bathrooms were well equipped, and there was plenty of space for our group!

Family mountain getaway

Had a fantastic time with my boys, brother and father. We did white water rafting down the Arkansas river and hiking in BV. Scenery around the cabin is beautiful!!!

Perfect place for a true get away!

This cabin was built for families! My entire family-parents, 2 sisters, my husband and I and our 2 children-spent the 4th of July weekend here. We spent every night sitting in the comfortable living room telling stories and laughing. It felt like home as soon as we walked in and we were all very sad to leave it. The owners and caretakers of this cabin have created a beautiful, thoughtful and loving place to build memories. I can’t wait to stay again.

Early Christmas getaway

The property was beautiful! The bedroom configurations were a bit unusual, but as advertised. It was easy to get to and we all had a great time. The lack of the fireplace working was quite disappointing, but, the owner did let us know a couple of days in advance of this. Thought maybe a small refund would've been in order, since it really was a selling point. All in all, a wonderful trip with a hike nearby to boot!

This place was absolutely beautiful! Honestly the pictures do not do justice! We wish we stayed a few more days to really enjoy the cabin. The only flaw is the dumpster is 10 mins away and you need a key for it. You can leave a minimum of two trash bags otherwise you will be charged. We ended up putting our trash in the back of our truck and driving it back to our house.

Great view

We loved looking out our towering windows at the grasslands and hills. It is a beautiful area, and definitely gave us a "mountain experience". The view of the collegiate range as you come from the north is one of the most breathtaking we've seen in our decades of traveling to Colorado. The house is beautiful on the outside and in. Since this was close to Buena Vista, we did not realize how high the altitude was. I mention this because: 1) In case a guest has breathing issues. 2) We were there in late May, and the winds were rather high and it was cold. We had come prepared for Colorado weather, but this was colder! I'm not sure if it is always like this in May, but if it is, don't count on sitting outside much. : )

Beautiful location, needs new furniture

House has a lovely location and the is obviously well made. Views are great. We were only there for a two night get away. Were disappointed to find the fireplace not working when we arrived, as that was one of the reasons we booked the property. The main living room with the big view has badly worn and stained furniture. Unsure on what the pattern was, if any to begin with, but cushions and couch have many over lapping stains. Difficult to get in and out of the furniture as the cushions and springs are shot. Understand rentals take a lot of abuse, but the furniture should have been replaced many visits ago. Good communication from owner.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Our family absolutely loved being together at this property. Our kids (17, 19 & 22) couldn't stop saying how great this place is. It is private, and perfect for families. It has a great little nook upstairs if someone needs to get stuff done. We sat in the living area with a coffee every morning for hours. The view from the living area if more than a photo can capture. Plan time to do nothing here. Nothing turns into something special if you relax and think and talk together. This property is on the edge of National Forest and so perfect for walks with your doggie and exploring. We'll be back.
