"We really enjoyed our stay! The staff are top notch and very welcoming and when not serving clients they were busy cleaning. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety and you could order specialty eggs. A great espresso machine! We loved playing billiards and used the gym. We had a private hot tub on the balcony and it was great to relax in after days full of exploring. Just a short 8 minute walk to a gorgeous beach! We also walked back to the hotel from Old Town about 25 minutes which was pretty easy and felt very safe. Would recommend staying here."

"Location, location, location. Lovely place located directly across from Praia Dona Ana! Across the street from the boardwalk to Ponta da Piedade. 15 min walk to town but bus and hop on hop off pics up just outside the hotel. Our room was great, nothing spectacular, but clean bright and had 2 beds with balcony with an ocean view. When the electronic lock did not work the staff bent over backwards to help us! All of the staff were super friendly and Marco at the pool bar gets a big shout out for his great drinks, food and most of all personality! We had a great trip and plan on returning! Can’t recommend this spot enough!"

"Location was excellent - easy reach of beach and restaurants and we had a wonderful holiday. However, the Nau Swimming Pool was over-run with children and families so we did not use it unfortunately. Further negatives were that there was a dirty nappy left on the balcony from previous occupants and we had to continually go and ask at reception for towels (not enough were supplied and were not replaced until we asked) and also for toilet roll (not enough was supplied and it was not replaced without asking). Another annoying issue was again regarding the supply of the shower gel and body lotion - we had to ask at reception for this to be replenished when it ran out but this should have been done automatically without asking during the cleaning/ normal maintenance. Also, the patio doors on the lower floor where the bedrooms were did not lock so we ended up having the shutters closed for the whole stay which was not ideal."
