"Compared with other reviews we cannot agree with everything. Yes, it's an older property, and it is worn out here an there. But our room (two queen beds) was large, clean, and everything has worked. No bad smell and no noise. OK, the bath could need some TLC, but everything has worked and was clean. It is located conveniently. The pool is nice. The lookout over the hotel is great, especially for sunset. And the seating areas by the water can give you a relaxing time. The breakfast was on the short side, but usually everybody found something. It is a place for relaxing. But the price may be a little lower, based on the wear of the facility."

"You could tell great care is taken to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable. I have never seen any rental so organized and well-stocked. It was clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend! We’ll be back!"

"Pros: staff was pleasant; great frig in the room; AC worked well; convenient to Lake Okeechobee. Small Coffee maker in room. Cons: property and room need extensive maintenance and updating. Live roach in bathroom; old stain on sheet. Towels very old in appearance. No breakfast, even simple continental."

"This residence is perfect for the ones planning a fishing trip to Okeechobee. The covered parking is perfect for a trailered boat and a circular driveway makes it easy to pull in and out. The hospitality was beyond expected. If there is anything that you may need, they will be more than generous to assists you. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend staying here. "
