"The house is spotlessly clean and it’s very well laid out , from arriving and getting key ( a lovely lady answered the bell and advised how to get the key ) . You get in as is very clean , it has 4 double rooms and one shared shower/toilet , very impressive with the lay out . I would 100% recommend and book again"

"A traditional no frills farmhouse B&B set in tranquil countryside surrounds with southerly views. Not too from the lovely town of Tavistock. I was greeted by friendly courteous staff and given a very spacious room for the price and a tasty cooked breakfast to boot. Excellent value for money. I really enjoyed the overnight stay and would definitely recommend to others."

"We absolutely loved staying at The Barbican Hotel.
It’s in a great location, near the beach and town.
We were greeted so kindly and looked after so well.
Our room was fresh and bright, very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was wonderful! Well cooked and presented!
I can honestly say, we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house!
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming!"

"I am a wheelchair user and this hotel was well equipped for wheelchair the staff was really lovely and helpful, the breakfast team couldn’t do enough for ppl I have nether met such a nice set of ppl, the breakfast was always spot on, there was a bus stop outside the hotel which took you to torquay harbour and other places but to be honest my husband walk and I was in my chair round to the harbour it took us around 15 to 20 minutes but it was such a lovely walk I loved the hotel it was spotless and would recommend it "
"I have enjoyed my two night stay at Copthorne Plymouth. The entrance is unusual and I didn’t appreciate all the steps to reach reception with my heavy bag.
Staff, on reception and at breakfast, were abrupt & overly casual & I would say, not so good on customer service (leaning across me from behind my head, as I was writing notes, to reach for a breakfast bowl, rather than go to the other side of the table, was something of a shocker),
My room was spacious, with a nice bathroom & products and a powerful shower. There was no fan though & it was hot, but at least I wasn’t there in the heatwave.
Location wise, it is handy for me but I am not sure I’ll return. There are other similarly priced hotels in the city with friendlier staff, and after a long journey for work to Plymouth, I do want to feel welcome and not a burden to be dealt with as brusquely as possible."
"Everything was perfect except cleaning area. We came on 28th June and next day no one swapped our towels as it was smell coming so on 30th i asked 1 cleaning staff lady to swap it even she was also shocked that why no one changed. Bedsheet was dirty and when someone came to clean that person just placed opposite because dirty part was under thats very bad. I think cleaning team needs to check this that how their staff working."
"Nice big room, comfy bed. Helpful staff, was able to store my luggage. Cold water dispensers on every level. Handy to shops and public transport. Plenty of parking. Nice outside seating area."
"Clean room, but the shower needs some mould magic to remove all the black mould from the shower. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't get any housekeeping during our stay, which was a bit disappointing as we would've liked fresh towels. Good location and there is parking, although it did look quite busy. Didn't try the breakfast, as it ended at 10.00am, which we thought was a bit early for a weekend morning. "
