"The Wellspring cottage is truly tucked in one of the most beautiful countryside settings in upstate NY. The cottage itself was secluded, with rustic charm and perfect amenities (cold press French coffee with an onsite grinder and plenty of whole beans ready for use was nice). We loved the loft space and were quite comfortable.The walking trail is short and really neat how it integrates forest and farm with the sheep fencing area within the wooded lot.I walked down the road in the morning and was greeted by a friendly farmer neighbor, out clearing his front lot.We spent time at Buttermilk Falls, downtown Ithaca and Trumansburg- a super cozy town with some great local good stores, an rare find thrift store called Gemm and an incredible authentic Mexican cafe called El Amigo (great service, handmade margarita and mojito and sizzling hot stone bowl presentation of our grilled meats for lunch tacos. (We shared the variety option- 30 for two and we have leftovers).All in all really great stay at the rustic charm cottage. Liza was a great host- very communicative and helpful- we would love to come again!"

"The property was great! We booked it for a friends bachelorette trip and it was nice to be able to have all the space inside and outside. The hosts are amazing about communication and are very quick to respond if you need anything at all. Highly recommend this property and these hosts!!"

"My family had a fantastic stay here this summer! What a wonderful property! Wonderfully renovated and cozy. Big kitchen area and huge dining room table for big family meals. Tons of space outside as well for meals with the 2 tables. Great fire pit with chairs and the grill fired up right away and was great!The fun room was an instant hit along with the video games. It was hard to pull the kids away when it was time to leave! All the bedrooms were great - we all slept like rocks. Beds are comfortable and we particularly liked the basement king - a great sleep cave! Location was great too - not far from all the area has to offer. Quick trips to Ithaca were a breeze and Watkins isn't too far as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"We had a great time during our stay. The house and property are gorgeous - we took full advantage of canoeing each morning and swimming off the dock. The property is super local to lots of hiking trails, close to the wine trail, and overall a great stay for our little family (including the dog!)"

"The size of the property was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for kids to play, corn hole tournament , and hugh pool. Two fully stocked kitchens. The patio was wonderful , the inside and patio dining, 25 people, was perfect for our 50th anniversary celebration. The property manager was extremely helpful and hospitable!"

"This was the fifth year that we have rented this property and we will be back again next year! Everyone loves the house and the lake! I spent hours watching all the kids play in the water and have a grand time! All of the little ones cried when they had to leave…The only thing we would like to see is a bigger dock. It used to be larger but it looks like a large part broke off! Otherwise, we are so happy that we found this gem on this small, quiet lake, away from all the tourists and loudness of the larger lakes!"
