I stayed in for 3 days and my room was never cleaned. At the breakfast buffet the attendant serves food on your plate rather than letting you pick your portion. I asked for water and never came - the water in the room's refrigerator was frozen and could not be consumed. The Floor in my room had lots of dust and made my feet muddy when I got out of the shower.

Exceptional Hotel!!

The hotel was ok. Nothing special. But the room hasnt coffe maker and the bathdroom door broke. The hotel is very noisy. The breakfast is buffet but simple.

My wife and I enjoyed are stay here. When in Bucaramanga will stay here again. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a good variety to choose from. Our room overlooked the street and was very quiet.

Nice hotel, great staff. Good Gustavo was especially helpful and friendly. Wifi worked well, Good breakfast and food in the on site restaurant was very good. Area can be noisy at night depending on the location of your room on the property. Nothing that ear plugs can't fix.

The hotel is clean, the neighborhood is nice. The property was clean and staff was kind. The room is tiny, but it was OK the only problem is the bathroom it has not ventilation, there is not way to get fresh air in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good BUT they use a little bowls to put some food and there were flies all the time, I told the servers about it and they did not care, the next day it was the same... So the flies put their eggs in our food, that was disgusting and anti-hygienic. They should do something about it.

Great place to stay one or several nights. Although next to a party street (loud music until late), rooms are sort of sound proof. Many nice restaurants, drug stores, grocery shopping nearby.

Service in this hotel is excellent, from top to bottom..the food is tasty with a menu that has a wide selection of dishes to choose from...the problem is that this establishment is situated near several discotecs which stay open on the weekends til 2am...not all rooms have noise-abating glass, and there is no easy fix to the problem...nonetheless, I slept well in my somewhat small room.

I was charged an extra fee and nor the hotel or expedia would do anything about it! It's outrageous that they charge over 10% for some sort of protection that we never accepted to be charged for and was completely useless. I'd never use the service again amd the staff's response was to basically suck it up

It was lovely to stay there, I loved the breakfast, the terrace, nice staff and service, the bedroom was big enough and clean.

concierge did not wake me up and I missed flight
I liked this hotel, overall it was a good hotel in previous stays, they staff was kind and services was efficient but this last time I stayed last May 2016 the concierge did not wake me up and I missed my flight. They would not even let my taxi driver wake me up. Finally when 10 minutes before my flight was time they knocked on my door. I ran outside, my taxi I had arranged was not there and they did not have my bagged breakfast they promised the night before. I say, this is a good hotel if you don't have to rely on their concierge to wake you up. Otherwise it's and OK 3 star hotel.

Great hotel but noisy nightlife
I enjoyed this hotel, the staff was very friendly, complimentary breakfast in the morning. The only problem is it is right across the street from three clubs that blast music up to about 3 a.m. you can hear a wind of it in the room, walk in the hallway it's blasting. Great hotel for the price

Nice small hotel in good neighborhood
Clean and comfortable beds. Nice view from roof top and good complimentary breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful in obtaining our tickets for our concert, dining, shopping and tours. Rooms are small but well equipped with everything you need including air conditioning, cable tv and fridge. Vibrant local nightlife. Best small hotel in the area.

Affordable place with great customer service
What I enjoyed the most at La Serrania was the service, everyone working there makes you feel welcomed and valued. The breakfast is not bad at all, they have a good variety of food. One thing that I didn't like was the location, the hotel is located next to a street with clubs that played their music until 3/4 am. and they can be very loud. They have a good view of the city. Once again, the employees do make you feel great. Friendly, professional, and affordable hotel!
