"Very clean room in a good location "

"Great location. Walk to everything downtown. Courteous staff. Nice happy hour! Clean and comfortable rooms (but the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable). Indoor pool was great for 2 grandkids! Will definitely stay again!"

"Hotel Chalet meets the GOLD Standard. Very few hotels can achieve that standard today. Whether in a rail car or in the hotel proper, EVERYTHING is well above expectation. After a 50-plus year maritime career and hundreds (if not 1000’s) of hotel stays both here and abroad over the years, you can trust my judgement. Stay here and you will be looking for reasons to return."

"The room was a nice size. Mostly clean. However, I don’t mind that the linens weren’t replenished in the 4 days I was there….but c’mon…..at least empty the trash. "

"Front desk associate was very nice. But, didn’t stay because as soon as parked the car we were approached by a guy asking for money assuring us it wasn’t for drugs…. Sketchy part of town. Did not feel it was a safe area."

"I would suggest if you want a clean place to stay this is not it. We had no electricity due to rain I’m guessing.?? The bathtub had mold around it and mold in corner of living area with a dehumidifier hiding it. Spider webs , dirty, blinds broke, the beadboard was cracked all over the bathroom. Then they had totes of clean linens right outside rooms for them to change later I’m guessing that we almost tripped over carrying our luggage. The place needs an overhaul inside and out. "

"The room was fine but the neighborhood and building are a bit run down. Breakfast had limited options. For the price, it was a little disappointing. "
