"Great view of the lake from the house, and we loved hanging out on the pier and on the shore at the firepit. Everything provided including kitchen/grill stuff, coffee, and even sports stuff like kayaks, life jackets, pickleball, etc. Entire place is clean, but the place looks quite a bit dated. I took a star for that, but I'd easily recommend that this place was a great place to completely unwind and rest right off the lake. Would definitely rent again. Thanks."

We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. As far as Rex calling this a hotel, it is more of a motel, but on a luxury scale. I felt like we were staying in an upscale country resort. Our room was #5 and upon arrival, everything was very clean. Even though we never met the owners or anyone for that matter on site, we never felt isolated. We would receive text messages occasionally reminding us it was time to start a fire in our very own outdoor fire ring, using the free fire wood, matches and starter. I have stayed in some pretty fancy hotels all over the country, but the temperature control in this room is the best. We were able to keep the room at the perfect temperature without having to constantly change it. I don't know if I'll get back to this part of Pa. again, but if I do we will be staying here at The Rex Hotel. "
