"Timber Trail Lodge is in a beautiful location. The place is neat and clean and the staff I interacted with were helpful. The room itself was on the small side and the shower even more so. We slept great, however and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again"

"This is my spot for a fall getaway during MEA. Good old fashioned north woods resort. Not fancy but very clean, very comfortable, new appliances (full refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, microwave) spectacular view, quiet and dependable service. Many people had kids and pets; great for family, safe area for a solo trip."

"We loved the self check in & out process with this property and it went very smoothly. Also really liked the feeling of having our own “cabin” as opposed to a hotel room, it felt very private & safe. The price can’t be beat compared to other local listings. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!"

"The staff were all friendly and helpful,problems with our reservations were corrected by the manager in the morning.The water sports equipment were closed for the season, but the bicycles ,ere in perfect shape and the 4 mile loop was a great suggestion by the staff.hot tub was clean and nice and warm, pool was clean.Lake view from room was very nice., clean, and roomy.Beds very comfortabl."

"The cabin is basically brand new, very cute, efficient use of space, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, pillows, etc., good hot water in the shower and good heater/air conditioning units in bedroom and living area, functional little kitchen area, plenty of light, nice screened porch, very convenient to the things we wanted to do. Though it is right near Hwy 169 it was quiet both day and night. We had a little trouble getting the key to work at first, but someone came over and helped us right away. The description of essentials provided is accurate (I didn't read it as carefully as I should have so I hadn't packed my own hair dryer but that was on me.) Other advice is set the bedroom heating/ac unit fan on low to minimize vibration hum at night, if that would effect you."
