"The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. The Chamley Arms around the corner was very welcoming but we just missed out on being able to eat there as they are starting serving meals in July. However we enjoyed the food and friendly welcome at the Sandford Arms in the next village, Sunday lunch was particularly good. Despite the changeable weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cosy Nook Cottage, it is not a typical holiday let, it’s a wonderful home."

"Well where do I start?…….easy, there is not a thing that our holiday could be faulted on, absolutely perfect. We were celebrating a joint birthday and wanted a few days away in total comfort and tranquility and Christopher’s cottage totally fitted the brief. Comfort in every way, furniture, decor, comfort and fully equipped to make a break away extremely enjoyable. The bathroom facilities, one upstairs and one downstairs was brilliant as was the fully functioning and quaint roll topped bath outside! Will return when I need a relaxing, get away from everything break again and soon I hope."
