"Lovely unit, well appointed with everything you could possibly need apart from a coffee plunger or percolator for the grounded coffee provided for your breakfast. Continental breakfast was OK. Farm was lovely and the alpacas so cute but aloof.

"Awesome place to stay. Very conveniently located 15 minutes from Christchurch airport and there's plenty of dinning options in Kaiapoi, all within 5 minute drive. The kitchenette is a stand out feature of these rooms. Great service from the owners as well. Will definitely stay here again "

"We loved our stay at Flaxmere Guest Cottage. The cottage was warm, sunny and spacious. Comfy beds with lovely linen and a woodburner. We self catered and it was perfect for staying in by the fire in the evenings. It was lovely being able to wander through the magnificent gardens. A truely unique place and we’d definitely rebook. "
