"Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful townhome; it was so gorgeously decorated, well furnished, and extremely clean, and any minor things I saw are not worth mentioning because this property deserved a 5-star rating. Both my husband and I still had to work during our visit to Savannah; therefore, with the desk space in the master suite and the large dining area, we had the accurate space to set up our monitors and laptops to work. We have another planned visit to Savannah in 3-4...

"Beautiful spot on the river. Cabin was comfortable and clean. The river was too low to kayak. Drive into cabin is tricky but owners provided good directions. Road and driveway are very rough. A car could make it back but would recommend a truck or suv with some clearance underneath. "

"Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather."

"We had a great time staying in this cabin. Kim came kayaking by and gave us the courage to give it a try. She was very kind in helping teach our kids how to row the kayaks and just checking in on us. We did some fishing, took a walk, and hung out on the porch watching the river. The fireflies at night are the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. My niece loved catching the frogs. Staying here feels like you’re at a family lake house."

"This home was perfect for our family of 8 to celebrate our daughters graduation from GA Southern in Savannah- plenty of space for us all to be together or to find a quiet spot alone. Julie was very responsive and helpful- we had a toilet that was running and she had someone out to fix it in just a few hours. We will back in 2 years when she graduates with her masters!"

"This rental was flawed from the beginning. The complex does not allow short term rentals, there is no check in process. The key was hanging on a hook by the front door for anyone to see. There was no phone number to contact. Both the complex and VRBO tried to reach out to the host with no response. There were no instructions inside the unit, no wifi, a phone jammer must have been present because phones would not work inside of unit. There were cameras in the unit that I unplugged. "The house was very clean and comfortable, the new neighborhood was nice too. I recommend taking young children on a pirates of hilton head tour, it was fantastic, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog."

"This property is in a wonderful quiet location. The house has lots of space and amenities. From the property, it was an easy drive into Savannah and all the great sights there. It was nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood at night."
