"The room was large and luxurious. The king bed was very comfortable and shower was large enough for two. They served a variety of pastries including almond croissants for breakfast. The staff was very helpful with purchasing event tickets and sightseeing. You can see the Hollywood sign from the pool deck on the roof. My wife and I had the best vacation ever!"

"Definitely a stylish hotel with cool decor. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Free breakfast was included, on the roof, which was pleasant. Our room had a view of the Hollywood sign (in the distance) which we loved. On the downside, the rooftop bar is only open Thurs-Sat. It was not clear when the downstairs restaurant/bar was open. It was closed on a Monday when we were there. As women travelers, we did not feel safe walking to a restaurant in the area at night (but Uber/Lyfts were ample!). At any rate, it's an Argentinian steakhouse so the options were not very broad unless you like a lot of grilled meat. There was a general lack of attention to detail in the room-- the room phone would not connect to the front desk, a light was out, an outlet did not work, and the wifi password was not shared in the room. If you're used to really nice hotels, you might feel some rub, but if you aren't bothered by the little things, you'll enjoy your time here."

"The location is great within walking distance to Avalon and The Pantages Theater. There's no on-site parking so you have to use overnight public parking down the block. There's 3 around the same block but make sure to ask what the gate hours are and how much they charge so you don't over pay or you can't get out when you want. Overall the hotel is fine for a one or two night stay nothing fancy but decent."
