Firstly I would like to mention that we didn't stay at the Clifton hotel as it is closed due to Covid. We actually stayed at the sister hotel the Rodney.
This was a decent hotel with very pleasant & helpful staff let down by a couple of things:
1. No parking at the hotel although we were able to park at the Clifton - this involved a 15 minute walk between hotels
2. The restaurant served very nice food however the choice was very limited
3. The Clifton area is very nice but the restaurants are popular & need to be booked in advance. This makes it awkward for a weekend stay when the hotel restaurant doesn't open on Sundays!
