"Absolutely wonderful weekend retreat! The setting in the english garden style surroundings by the river is so beautiful and the hotel itself is a wonderful blend of historic and modern. Café Johann delivers on all levels and the wellness area topped it all off. Our warmest recommendations!"

"Es handelt sich hier um ein Landgasthaus das in seiner Innenausstattung der Gaststube in den 80ern bewegt. Sehr viel Holz und in sich zu dunkel. Die Gästezimmer sind einfach eingerichtet. Das Bad ist neu renoviert. Die Wege zu den Zimmern werden teilweise durch Stühle verstellt und waren bei unserem Aufenthalt schlecht beleuchtet. Der Außenbereich ist eigentlich gut ausgestattet, es gibt die Möglichkeit Fahrräder unterzustellen und sogar kostenlos zu laden. Dennoch wirkt der Außenbereich...

"We have a service dog who should by law be granted free access to any hotel. However, to this hotel for some reason it is not allowed to bring your service dog free of charge. "Uncomfortable beds, room was vaguely clean but still lots of cobwebs. Front desk tried to get me to pay for the room again even though it had been paid for through Expedia. This happened several times despite Expedia calling the front desk - eventually it was sorted, but it took a lot of my time chasing it. To be clear, the Expedia support was very good - it was the hotel that was the problem. Breakfast is poor (for the price). I would not stay here again."
