Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. "Loved the small feel of this luxurious hotel. Location was perfect and walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. The Included fancy breakfast was a plus as we enjoyed lobster benedict and a veggie loaded omelette. We felt like a kids hanging out in the free candy shop tasting all sorts of goodies. The king bed and pillows were comfortable however, the bed could have been more supportive as I felt motion every time my husband moved or turned over. We overall slept well and felt very special...

"Rosemary’s property is in a beautiful location close to Rockland. We enjoyed being able to take short drives to nature preserves, lighthouses and historic sites. The view from the deck is gorgeous. We were very fortunate to have a week of mostly dry weather to enjoy some relaxing time on the deck. We cooked all our fresh seafood meals in-house and the kitchen was well stocked for that purpose."
"This was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding weekend. Loved sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the harbor. Very quite neighborhood. Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Great location so close to Rockland. Lovely views of the boats in the bay. House very well equipped and clean. It’s all on one floor - convenient for seniors and hard to find. The only real drawback was lack of porch, deck and access to outside space. We would return again."
"The view of the bay from this house, it simply stunning. We loved exploring the beach, grilling dinner on the deck and relaxing in the evenings. The shared bathroom worked for our family, but it could be a little awkward for some groups. Wish there was a dining table, and the living room furniture could use a refresh - very worn sofas were rough on the lower back after awhile. We'd book again - it's a 5 min drive into Rockland. "
"This was a well appointed, clean and bright spot for our family to base while we explored the mid-coast of Maine on the way to Bar Harbor and Acadia.
