"I wish I could give this place a 10 star review. This farmhouse was so wonderful. The location was very easy to access, there was ample parking, and wildlife all around. It was quite, peaceful, clean, historic, and had too many amenities to list. When we arrived, there were groceries in the fridge, cookies on the counter, and a bowl of chocolates. There were ample towels, paper towels, TP, detergent, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. We met the host when we got to the property on the second day. Such a lovely woman, and her husband was extremely quick to respond to any questions that I asked. My only concern is that by leaving this amazing review that this property might not be available the next time we are in town because everyone else would want to rent this farmhouse. It was such a nice change to rent an home that was far an above nicer that the photos show on the site. I have stayed at multiple rentals over the years and this was, by far, the BEST one EVER!!! "

"We had a pretty good stay for our trip. The location was quiet and very close to the Equestrian Center, about a 10 min drive. The few bummers were the Fireplace didn't work and it was pretty cold and rainy the days we were there, but the heater worked fine so nothing crazy. We also wished there were just a few more towels but the laundry on site helped. We had an issue with the dishwasher and they fixed it within a day! Overall a pretty good stay! "

"Location was perfect to get to Tryon Equestrian Center which was the reason we were there. Beautiful neighborhood. Host was great when there was issues. Only thing I would’ve liked to be different was the place to have been cleaned better. "

"My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this beautiful cabin. It’s even more breath taking in person than in the pictures. The attention to detail is unmatched, yet it still feels cozy and welcoming. Another bonus is the location is a short drive to Tryon or Flat Rock. Alan was an exceptional host and very easy to communicate with. We hope to return soon and will be recommending this little piece of paradise tucked into the trees for any of our family or friends who need to get away."

"Sarah was great! The home was clean and comfortable. The towels and linens were plentiful. The beds were comfortable. The setting is nice and quiet. The kitchen could be equipped a little better. There were five of us and only four coffee cups. The listing had a dishwasher listed in the amenities but we did not see one. Overall, this was a pleasant Thanksgiving for our family in a nice setting. We appreciate the host and the home. "
